I say you shoot for 10k. And screw just filiming a couple sets do the whole workout. Start making your own wokrout vids.
Also good bit of philosophy written. I agree that if you are doing it for what others think than you will ulitimatley not reach your peak. You have to do it intrinsically and that is it. For yourself and only yourself
i might hit near 10k today lol, im going to dinner with my fiance`s relatives so hopefully they make a lot of food/have a lot of snacks, and ill probably hit drive through on the way home and might choke down 3-6 doughnuts and a couple cups of chocolate milk.
I would film whole workouts if my buddy would be down to film me, ill ask him
ive been a lot more intense lately so the video might not be even that boring lol:P
Lol…enjoy your giant dinner
Videos would be amazing.

I hope the dinner is giant lol but it’s weird how littler her family eats considering the large stomachs some other relatives have lol

If that’s what you want then go for it brother! I’m pretty sure my need to be a certain level of leanness is making my strength goals harder then they should be, but with my long term goal in mind and my current situation, I’m doing this the way that will keep me happiest! Which is what it’s all about… killing it but enjoying it… however that may be.
Yeah I hear ya man just stick to it and youl be fine, gains might seem slower but in reality they really arent

Thanks man, good to have you here

I cr33p the logs of most of the BoIz. I totally get what you mean with that post btw - I see shredded people and am like DAMN but then I realise that actually it’s not what I want right now. In time though I will be teh shredder…

Yeah it was something that bothered me for a long time, pretty silly to let other people hold you back

I am gonna catch your strength levels if its the last damn thing i do. HOw long has it taken you to get to this point?
You throwing around that kind of weight could not be boring.
It’s taken a while man but my lifts started to take off once i got over 220 or so I think that was mostly because of leverages lol. I bet if I was 275 my lifts would really take off maybe to an elite level or not far off with time

Any idea where your macros are when you are hitting 5000, 6000, or higher cals
well today i did manage to eat 9000 calories, a bit over and i stopped counting carbs after i got to 800g i dont count too much else just am adding a lot more protein, via 3-4 scoop shakes
at my fiances uncles there was these potatoe and cheese onion tarts i had 4 of those, then a ton of that brie cheese with crackers, i had a beer, a few cups of orange peach mango juice, a ton of turkey and ham, lots of chocolates and a large serving of cake, it was good, im drinking 2 scoop whey with milk to break the 9000 mark lol, i could actually eat more…
my fat content obviously from what i post on here is very high, but high fat is very good for heavy lifting, ive been recovering amazingly and no more elbow pain and ive been lifting more frequently anda lot heavier
im going to try something different though this time, and only eat a high amount of calories friday to sunday or friday to saturday then the remaining days drop my calories to 4500-5000. i will also be throwing in random control days here and there to keep the fat loss a bit lower. I think this strategy is smart because ill be eating an amount the majority of the time that would never get me fat, still though would be enough for muscle gains and maintaining the weight i put on the weekend. Then i will use the weekends to really push my weight up. Plus with this time around im walking all day at work so it will help in adapting faster to the new weight i put on. I got the idea from reading dorian yates offseason, where he would eat his 6000 calorie diet during the week then a few days a week hed add something like a tub of ice cream or a big pizza to push the calories over to i recal 10000. the main goal is to not ever eat less then 4000 calories unless its planned. I think control days help as well or even something similar to a 1 day v diet or pulse fast, especially haveing 2 in a row then continueing on. I think this is an easier way to have longevity on a bulking plan because i have never bulked for longer then 8 weeks at a time in my life, most times theyre 2-4 weeks then maintenance/ mini cuts
more power to you brother. I totally understand how you feel, people are always telling me not to get any bigger, why would you wanna get bigger, when they see my old avi they’re like omg you looked so good then… when I explain to them that I was too small and weak they just look at me weird. but when you tell people that you wanna be 200 lb and < 15% bf and that 170 lb and ~15% bf is just too small they don’t get it.
just do what makes you happy. it’s great that your fiancee is supportive of your goals.

Back squat
Barx10
135x5x3
225x3
315x3
405x1

525x1!! Finally got this lol it wasn’t hard at all I could have gotten more, stupid elbow still hurts from it though I deffinitely need more shoulder flexibility

You gripping the bar close? With elbows pushed forward?
As close as I can, I bring the elbows more horizontal now because vertical hurts the elbows a bit too much, still today they were sore for 30 mins after, if I could grip a bit wider I’d be fine but I can’t because I left in a power rack
Nice PR man. Arms looking solid as well. Like the diet plan. Looks good. Obviously you have all your macros through the roof. But majortiy cals from Carbs? then pro then fat? Best guess

Do you let your elbows compliment your arch?

I’m assuming I don’t man helppp mee
When I rotate my elbows forward and then unrack a heavy weight, my upper back will round some and my elbows move back a bit, so I’m not maintaining that actual position throughout set but the tightness is still there. It could be that you’re not shelving the weight properly or you have some serious mobility issues. I’d advise working on both. Is the pain in the joint or the attachment in the tris or brachs?
