Bill Roberts advice re: Primo orals

Bill, you stated in a recent post that you thought Primo orals were effective, but an expensive proposition due to the amount one has to take to obtain an effective dose. Two questions: 1. Does this mean that a person should aim for 800 mg of Primo per week when doing orals? 2. How and when should orals be taken? All at once, at the beginning of the week? Divided doses, some per day, every day? How about morning v. evening or 1 hour or so before working out?
One last, diet-related question: How should your diet be modified when cycling, if at all?

Yes, 100 mg/day oral Primo is minimal, but does give some noticeable benefit, for the male bodybuilder. So that’s 700 mg/week, pretty close to the 800 mg/week figure you mentioned.

That 700 mg/week is pretty comparable to perhaps 200 mg/week by injection, not much more, and definitely not 400 mg/week.

Gains will be better with divided doses; inhibition will be less with morning only or really, you could probably do fine with daytime only. So which you do depends on priorities at that current time.

When doing a cycle to gain mass, fat intake can drop because there’s no need now to try to get the few percent extra natural T you get from higher-fat (30-40%) diets. Still get essential fatty acids and don’t go “no fat,” but fat could drop to say 60 grams per day for example, which might be only 1/8 of calories. Dropping the fat lets you, for the same calories, consume more carbs and protein, which helps gains.

I like to see 20 cal/lb/day as a minimum for a “serious” cycle or even 22; and protein about 2 g/lb/day or a little higher. Different story for dieting cycles of course.
