Yesterday was a GPP day, Spring Cleaning for about 8 hours around the house. I am glad it is done.

This was the first time since we’ve been together that James has ever gotten a bug up his butt and decided it was time to clean from top to bottom and move the furniture around! He worked so hard! Now I know his hard work doesn’t only happen in gym settings, he can clean too!
I love you baby!

Leg Night

Squats: 140x10, 250x6, 340x3, 450x1, 540x1, 600x2 Knee wraps, wrist wraps and a belt.

Deadlifts: 250x6, 450x2, 600x2 W/belt and wrist wraps.

After that I was pretty waxed, oh well, next week should be better.

I got my new toy.
Viking Press: 120x8, 210x8, 300x8 I like this a ton.
Lat Pulldowns Front: 120x10, 210x8, 300x8
Incline DB BP: 70x12, 80x12
Laterals: 30x10, 40x10
Low Pulley Rows: 300x2x8

I felt great today, considering that I was getting over one of those spring time colds.

I am glad to see your traning is going very well.
Thank you for the compliment on our gym. We have invested some time and money into it and this summer it is going to get a lot of use. We both have 4 weeks until school is out for the summer.
I am in the process of getting some tires for both of us to flip. A 400 pounder for her and an 800 pounder for me. It has been a few years since I have played with the tires and I look forward to teaching my wife how to flip hers.

Early Morning Training Session. The last one before next week.

Deadlifts: 250x6, 450x2, 550x1, 650x1 W/Wraps and a belt.

It has probably been one of my worst training cycles I have had in a long time. My performance will reflect and I can make no excuses.

I notice your weight progression usually starts off with 140 pounds.

Do you have a bar that weighs 50 lbs, or do you throw 2.5’s on?

(The former seems more likely, but I thought barbells were all 45 pounds.)

His collars weight 2.5 a piece :slight_smile:

My last bench day went very poorly.

BP: 140x15, 250x6, 340x3, 430x1, 490x1, 515x0
I left it at that. I will just re-adjust my opening attempt and go from there.

I had a very good weekend. I competed in what maybe my last powerlifting meet. After 19 years straight of competing, I am hanging it up. But, I ended on a high note.

Squat: 675
Bench: 500
Deads: 655
Total: 1830

I won my class,(SHW) I was the only one in it. Best bench and overall best male lifter.
I used only a singlet, belt, knee and wrist wraps. Semi-raw I guess some would say.
Now, it is time to drop some major body weight and start training for strongman. I love the events so much better. They are more fun and entertaining.
