I just went to their homepage for a look. A 450 pound 19 year old? How is that possible? A 380 pound WOMAN? That’s bigger than the Fridge was, as big as some of the top sumo wrestlers. I heard some of these fatties eat 20-30 000 calories a day.

…which takes a shit load of effort so I have little tolerance for the pity parties that get thrown because someone is so fat they can’t walk. No one accidentally eats 20,000cals a day. It isn’t like you start watching a movie with a bucket of…whoppers…and then after the movie is over discover that all 18 of them disappeared during the action sequences.
According to the 19 year old kid “One day you wake up and you are 450 pounds”. Yeah, I woke up with 20 inch guns this morning too. It just happened!

this is the most bizarre season of this show. sending them home in their absolute ignorance…they don’t know jack and they’re toying with them. and these people are ginormous compared to the previous seasons; even compared to any group of people, really. i don’t get it. where do they go from here with this program?
i still think it is an emotional issue with a lot of people like pent up rage, food smothered emotions. i don’t know. i’ll stop now. i give up.

I don’t know it just seems crazy for me that a person loses 214lbs and gains it back. He must just feel terrible.
I think he felt hungry.

(Sorry.) I will go back to being sweet & nice now. I’d be so ashamed of myself if I did that. I’d enter a massive depression & never forgive myself. I’ll never see 204 lbs EVER again in my life. (Yes, there are pics in the “Before & After” thread, and also TVixen pics.)

Have I mentioned that T-Nation motivates me? Love it.

Just thought I’d throw that in there. You guys motivate me. Thank you!

That’s the kind I thought Prof. X was talking about. I was thinking big freaking deal if they eat 18 of them. But then I caught on. I don’t get out much.

Yeah, I L’dOL.

He meant Burger King Whoppers, right? If that’s not it, I don’t think I want to know.

Holey Moley, the old guy with the bad heart was just saying they work out 6 to 8 hours a day!!! insane.

I liked Thibs article where he mentioned that for the long run the drastic attack limits you when you stall. If you’ve scaled back your calories and you are working out 6-days a week you have nowhere to go when your body acclimates.

man these folks are in for a surprise. But I think someone said the majority of these guys keep the weight off.

They must be screaming from soreness

I was thinking this same thing, how do these people deal with NOT being able to work out for 6-8 hrs a day? When they go home they have all the same temptations they had which got them in trouble in the first place. You can already tell which people will rebound. I was very impressed the 400lb+ teenager could run on the treadmill, that’s one well built machine to handle all that weight.

I think that kids gong to do some good things. I was impressed at how he finished the challenge and demanded the treadmill be turned up.

LOL. knew i shouldn’t have said that…TMI

Is anyone else watching this show?

Is it surprising that the fat Dad had to get rushed to the doctors?

I am cruel and would have sent his ass packing a while ago.

My trainer says they get b12 shots and a woman at work got those shots with phentermine and B6 and she dropped 25lbs in 3weeks.

so I guess it isn’t just what they show on th show.

But this guy… . have you see him? he looks like he gave birth to a litter. yes… it is mean… terribly mean… but he did it to himself.

Yeah, I tuned in for the last half hour last night and couldn’t believe the dad was still there and that they kept him.

I can’t stand Tara. She gets on my fucking nerves and now she’s just being cocky…and she wonders why everyone is picking on her.

Her head is huge too.

Tara got really nervous now that she has some competition with Nicole returning. She is literally shitting a brick on the show.

Yea - earlier in the thread I mentioned how unbelievably fucked up his body looked, and the bizarre pattern of fat storage descending his torso.

This is the guy who had gastric-bypass surgery, yet somehow fucking gained 50 lbs POST surgery.

That is some fucked up shit…

this week she was out of control egomaniacal…but i liked when she pulled the car last week.
i think it sucks that they didn’t send the sick dad home instead of someone who worked hard at home.
