Tyson’s problem was getting rid of Teddy Atlas and his original trainers and promoters. The worst thing that ever happened to Tyson was signing with Don King after Gus D’Amato died. For a 4-5 year period, Tyson was the most dominant athlete of all time.
You should read Atlas’ autobiography “From the Streets to the Ring” for more info.
Basically, you’re right. [/quote]
I am surprised no one has shot Don King ,by now. He has rumored to ripped off alot of fighters .

Don King is a piece of shit and a theif. He has ruined many boxers. Just another very greedy man.
By the way, the Japanese put far more into PrideFc than the US puts into UFC. The way they allow the fighters to talk after the fight, the huge almost Opera like presentation of the fighters is absolutely stunning and much more entaintaing to watch than most of the UFC. That’s why there are so many “Pride nuthuggers”.
Actual Pride upsets and beatdowns tend to be a bit more surprising, for example I am not that surprised that someone of Leben’s calibur got his ass handed to him by Silva, but I was surprised by Cro-Cop’s.
Forrest Griffin Vs. Stephan Bonnar
One of the most exciting UFC fights I’ve seen and a great finale to the Ultimate Fighter season. http://www.forrestgriffin.net has the video.

Jerome Le Banner vs Don Frye
It was a K-1 vs Pride fight, and Don kind of took one for the team. Hilarious commentary:
Bas Rutten: What the hell is going on here?
Stephen Quadros: He’s getting a standing 8 count.
Bas: What…why?
Quadros: Well, he’s getting his ass kicked.
EDIT: Add Kharitonov vs Overeem. Poor Kharitonov breaks his shoulder in that first knee after the takedown, and grows more balls than brains and doesn’t tap out. Instead, he eats about 50 knees to his face.

Sad it was. I was waiting for him to nail Kimo with his patented Moonsault and finish him off with his signature headbutt drop any moment but it just didn’t happen…

What if UFC challenged WWF…WWE or whatever it’s called now, to a real Texas cage match? I’d love to see those fake wrestlers get smashed by guys much smaller. Goldberg vs. Ortiz, Austin vs. Cro Cop…I’d buy that pay-per-view.

Also Fedor vs. Brock Lesnar, Nog vs. Big Show, Wanderlei Silva vs. Hogan. Yes, I’d love to see that.
