Football broadcasts start tomorrow nite.

Helping at the State Fair Push/Pull on Saturday.

Saturday
Judged bench and deadlift Push/Pull at the Iowa State Fair.

Had 2 platforms running both both. Day started @ 8:30a and ended @ 2p. Had a couple pork chops during the event. Then it was off to eat. Managed an estimated 4000 calories in fair food. One thing, a pulled pork & French fry bowl was @ 1800. Good day.

Wrapped teammate’s knees between sets. He squats on Tues. Will wrap his knees weekly and at his October meet.

Got home to find my lever had arrived for my belt. Will start squatting again next Monday.

I use the Inzer lever belt too. I have a love / hate relationship with it. It’s only hate when I have to move the lever during a workout or meet.

We’ll, our golf league has come to a close. Tournament golf has ended.

Will back into training soon.

We hosted a meet last weekend. Wrapped knees for a young pup, 275#. His 2nd meet. Worked with wraps leading up to the meet. He hot his 600 squat. One more pound may have buried him.

Our gym is moving one last time. We are moving next weekend into a 7500 square foot, free standing, building. It sits on a couple of acres. Three overhead doors, locker room with showers. Maybe we can have nice things.

Tomorrow is the move of our gym. Some guys took some of the smaller stuff today. Monolifts, ER racks, rower racks, etc go tomorrow. Gym owner and I always joke that we could disassemble and reassemble the monolifts blindfolded since we’ve done it so many times.

We started in 2011 as @ 10 knuckleheads with a dream. We started in a 20x30 room. Now we will have 7500 sq ft to train. We may be able to host a meet at our new location. Maybe we can have nice things.

Bigger things on the horizon for 22nd Street Barbell.

Awesome news on the new gym, and good luck with the move.

The gym move is complete. First run of equipment was loaded Friday. More went Saturday. It was set up today. New location officially opens tomorrow 5am.
