I got back into training about a year and half ago, started out with the normal full body routine then moved onto Big Beyond Belief 4x a week.
Things were going just fine and dandy until about the 2nd week of the first ramp when I started to get quite a bit of pain on the top of my shoulder, I also found that any sort of straight dumb bell curling or barbell curling was out of the question as I had pain in the area between the bicep and forearm.
Now the pain actually doesn’t appear to be on the tendon, more to the side of it and now radiating to the brachioradialis.
Now the question, is this some kind of tendonitis or a muscular problem?
Been to the doctors, but he was about as helpful as asking Tim Tebow for directions to a brothel.
Gave me some prednisolone, and basically told me to do what I was already doing which was Ice after workouts.
I will also add, I had to take an enforced break from training for the last 2 weeks due to particularly nasty bout of giardia so I had hoped that it would heal up in this time, got back to the gym 4 days ago and its still there.
