Bicep tendonitis at the elbow, anyone had this? What did you do to rehab this?
JUst give it some time. Next time ease into it a bit more. When I start lifting (Ive had to restart a few times) I never do any direct biceps work, only chin ups for a workout or two. Then eventually I add a few sets of heavy preacher curl. After you do one or two workouts of chins and preacher curl, you should be good to start swinging for the fences with volume and not have to worry about being sore the next day.
One of the biggest problems I’ve had with this is with pressing movements, can’t get anywhere near lock-out without pain. Would seated barbell curls be useful for rehab? Maybe increase the ROM over time?
