Also, in relation to your squat stance, I would be tempted to seriously try out sumo pulling if conv. pulling is annoying you, especially considering your breaking the ground easily enough. I think the reason I can pull PRs after focusing on my squat is that my foot width on both is reasonably similar (wider on squats, but not a ton wider)

Around 580 beltless. I’ve tried sumo before and it felt like I was being torn. Things just didn’t align. I’ll be playing around with it again though.

NOTES:

  1. Jumped the gun a little on 245 and 275. Lowered the seat pad after 205 but it was too low. Shouldn’t change multiple variables mid-ramp. Lost track of 245 ruining the set and rushed myself on 275. Reset the seat for 185.
  2. The triples were kinda fun. The pauses were around 2 ct and very explosive.
  3. The angle is just a guess. I forgot to observe it in the gym.

SUMMATION:
Today went pretty well. I didn’t move a lot of really heavy weight like I enjoy, but I still got in some solid work I’d say. Pretty much winged this session and soon I just felt done so I put a cap on it and left.
