I’ve been on the 5/3/1 Boring but Big template for almost 2 years now. I always did chin ups even before this and I did bent over rows with a barbell. But when doing 5/3/1, I did the dumbbell rows as prescribed, which had a dramatic effect on my lat and arm strength - not to mention size.
I bought the Beyond 5/3/1 book and I’m on my second week of the 5/3/1 program posted on this board. I noticed it has me doing 50 reps of chins 2x a week. Is there a place to fit dumbbell rows in there? Can I do 50 chins one workout and then the next time switch out the chins for db rows?
