Looking good! Good to see that you’re still making progress besides the health problems. Keep it up, MiM!
Nice! Some leg veins too! I really admire your tenacity. I think I am starting to see some separation in my quad too, but only when I flex. Still, it’s something. The back view is still a disaster but hey, one step at a time.
Thanks ALL!!! ![]()
So super starving lately. So hungry I had some wheat bran flakes last night for ‘dessert.’ Wheat bran flakes?? yep.
Very hungry this morning, so had breakfast(duh) lately I’ve been going without…but I remembered to take my pill on time.
Food yesterday:
1130am- 1 cup greek yogurt
1pm- steak/collard greens
8 oz carrots
tomato
430- steak/collard greens
630pm- tuna in a can
8 oz green beans
string cheese
8pm- wheat ‘porridge.’
Off to the gym. Stay safe out there.
i think i feel hungrier with the addition of cardio, but it was so long ago i forget :-/
nice legs!
I didn’t even think of cardio related to being hungrier!!
I guess the trick then is to not overeat.
I gained an inch and lost an inch on my leggies. ![]()

N- careful with them knees. Does it hurt while your doing anything else or later in the day after you’ve squatted??

No pain what-so-ever. Just very crunchy loud noises during certain movements.

I think some crunchiness is ok, to be honest - at least that’s what I’ve been told. There’s lots of fluid and stuff in there, yaknow?
Thanks for the link, chickie! I’ve been doing bike sprints, but shoot, a little variety please! This would be a perfect addition!
yay for starving! go metabolism!

Thats good I spose. Mine didn’t hurt either, at first. ![]()
Maschy…tell me bout the kind of intervals your doing!
And I do believe the bike hell I’ve been doing is responsible for the gains/leaning out in my legs. Win.

I’m a fan of steak too. I like to buy packages of the beef round strips. There supposed to be for stir fry but convenient for a one person lunch or dinner ![]()
Cookin up some right now.
I work as hard as my energy levels allow. Everyone has days where they just don’t feel it, even if your not sick. can’t wait to know what it feels like to work as hard as I do being HEALTHY.
For as long as I have been seriously in the gym, I’ve had less than optimal or very slow results because of this stupid shit. Hoping I get that magic dose of meds finally and get some magic results. FINALLY.

wasn’t yelling at you Greg, lol
Crepitus is pretty normal, especially in old farts (or anyone who has been training for 10+ years, to be honest) - my knees crackle horribly. The problem is when there is crepitus plus pain. Then you have to worry. Well, not worry…take action.
Betty, I really hope you get on top of this thyroid thing. You really deserve a break after all the shit you’ve been through. You are one of the toughest women on here, mentally. I applaud that.

That’s my next t-shirt right there.
Just takin it day by day. What other option is there? But THANKS!!
knees are feeling awful today.
Word of wisdom. It’s ok to go to your Doc if you feel something is wrong. you only get one body. At least I think so.
Got a paper copy of the latest labs and I don’t know what my Doc was looking at, but the antibodies one has DOUBLED since I’ve been on meds…CRAZY!!!
Having a cheaty cheat meal…spaghetti and meatballs…maybe ice cream for dessert. And possibly a Vicodin. Hubby has some left from getting his wisdom teeth pulled earlier this week.
Cheat meal+ viocoden. Sounds like quite the friday night. Hope your knees and elbows feel better…
ya, it was!!
Spaghetti and meatballs+ Vicodin…nomnomnom.
Kinda groggy feeling, but could be a combo of both. Gotta hit the gym to burn off this lovely glycogen.
Takin our ‘boat,’ out later. Sposed to be in the upper 60s by next weekend. Bye Summer, I will miss you *sniff
Made it back from the gym. Felt good to work out the spaghetti, haha.
