^ Skynett sadly I have not seen any posts from Lew either.
I like Lew and PX, but if some guys can’t take a little feather ruffling on the internet than I feel bad for them.
The backlash against Professor X might be the best thing he ever received, possibly forcing him to get off the goddamn computer and put himself out there.
What I don’t understand about the guy is that he could do a lot with the resources he has. He’s decent looking guy and highly educated and has a pretty impressive background, some toys, a home, and some muscles, but instead of getting out there, chooses to attempt to lord over an internet message board.
Strange. ![]()

It was a few threads at once, and drawn out over pages and pages. I’d leave too if I were in that position.

Lol - oh, I’m not sad brother! ; )
Seriously - Thumbs up & all respect for the kind of work it takes to look like that. Thumbs decidedly DOWN on circular arguments, logical fallacies, willful dismissal, massive egos and your basic 4th grade playground arguing tactics textbook. Also, a certain amount of arrogance can be a very good thing - supreme arrogance however, is not a good thing. : )

I see your point about Lew, I felt too many people harped on his lifts in this thread even after he decided to stop commenting about it and I can see how he felt like he was being shit on. Like I said, I like Lew and that was most definitely not my intention with this thread.
PX brought just about all of it on himself. Besides, he’s written many times that he comes to this site for entertainment. It’s no coincidence he’s always getting into the arguments he does.
Besides, he’s got too much of a vested interest in this place to leave now. This isn’t the first time he’s left, I’m sure he’ll be back.

I thought Lew was always very level and did not get into those arguments even in the thread in question he just ignored it. You getting Portal 2 and did you down load the Red Dead zombie thing?
10 bucks says x still lurks. His self worth was too heavily based on this site to completely leave.

And he was a mod, and he buys some of his supps here, and he’s invested 10+ years coming to this site (over other sites) to build up a larger than life persona.
Also, I agree with DD, he’s still lurking. He’s creaming in his pants right now that we’re all talking about him. ![]()

what are the odds that he’s started a new screen name and is trolling us all as we speak? Bunny Bench? HaveIronWillLift? huh?

Way more civil than X for sure, but still pretty arrogant and condescending at times. No question that the guy has accomplished a hell of a lot as a bodybuilder though.
I dunno about Portal 2 - it looks awesome, but I’ve been playing a lot of DC Universe Online for PS3 and it’s taking up most of my gaming time. Plus my Xbox red-ringed the other night so it’s back to MS for a repair - this is my 2nd 360 too. 1st one (a launch console) had to be repaired twice, then I gave it to my kid brother and bought a new one about 2 or 3 years ago - and now it just died 2 nights ago. Fuckin’ Microsoft bullshit…
Never did DL Red Dead Nightmare - maybe I’ll get around to it for next Halloween…lol… Right now looking forward to Infamous 2 and Batman: Arkham City. Plus The Old Republic for PC - dying for that to come out. : )

Did you play Portal 1? I finally had to ditch my PS3 and buy a new one after 3 years. As much hours I put on that thing I cant really bitch nothing is made to last with that type of abuse. I was tempted with the DC universe, but I just dont have the time to spend doing anything online. I get a few hours here and there with one of those rare marathon sessions. I havent played a game in about 2 weeks, but that ends tonight
I agree on the Infamous 2 and Arkham look forward to those.

Let it die!!

I did - I liked it, very clever idea, lots of fun and the new one looks even better - but like I said, my time is so limited I’m finding myself even passing on games I would have really liked to play. Missed Alan Wake, missed Killzone 3 - but I just don’t have the time and cash to drop 60 bucks on lots of games. And even with something like Gamefly (which I don’t have actually) I still don’t have the time - plus I hate to say it, but as I get older, and now that I have a kid - I kind of feel like I’m really wasting a lot of time when I play too much.
Like there’s something more productive I should be doing with my time. Maturity sucks… ; )
Not that I would ever stop gaming - I hope to be 90 years old in some kind of fuckin’ Holodeck with my grandkids…lol…
