Hey i just got a bottle of Surge and i want to know that best way to supplement it. I know its says take some scoops before after and during but that seems wrong. Can anyone tell me how i can utilize it the best.

What you see fit for yourself, in my opinion. I did 1 scoop because I’m a cheap/poor bastard and didn’t want to go through a tub so quick.

Sorry reading my post I didn’t put to much information in it. To elaborate more 1 scoop before and 1 scoop during is what I did. I didn’t see the reason to do it after, I just drank a protein shake after.

I’ll eat a FIniBar about a half hour before training and slam my serving of Surge (three scoops) with Creatine right after training. Initially Surge Recovery was intended as a post workout recovery product. However, there have been different protocols which have popped up over the years such as before, during, and after.
Surge Workout Fuel now covers your before and during FUEL needs and Recovery will still kickstart the repair and recovery of muscle after being blasted by the weights.

I just used the Workout Fuel for the first time yesterday and really didn’t feel anything. Not sure what I was expecting, but to compare I used an ABB Extreme Speed Stack the day before and my freaking head was spinning. I know I may be comparing 2 totally different products, just mentioning for comparison.
I mixed mine with 2 scoops and started sipping on the drive to the gym and continued sipping throughout my workout. Should I have started out with say a 1 scoop full drink 15 minutes before and sipped my 2 scoop drink throughout?

Jim, that speedstack product sounds like a stimulant based product to amp you up before a workout. Surge Workout Fuel as you alluded to is completely different in that it is technologically advanced formula of high grade carbohydrates and amino acids to fuel you through long grueling exercise sessions. So, instead of feeling a buzz before your workout you will have the energy and endurance to get you through a demanding workout. Those speed/buzz type of products screw with my blood pressure and usually leave me feeling ‘down’ after awhile.

Just got my bottle of lemonade flavored Surge Workout Fuel today and gave it a go at the gym. I diluted the hell out of it and still not very fond of the taste. I think I am going to try and mix it with lemon lime gatorade and see how that works/tastes. The taste is not nearly as bad as NO-Xplode…I had to give that shit away!

Yeah the taste is absolutely terrible, but i found it helps to put some real lemon juice and sugar in it.

I’ve tried plenty of supps, i was just surprised at the taste of this. With all the hype i had heard, i expected it to be delicious like most other Biotest products. I’ve had Metabolic Drive and to be honest, i compared it to drinking a pan of brownies. Surge Recovery i’m drinking now and it tastes like drinking melted down lollipops. But with SWF (for some reason i thought would taste something like Surge Recovery) i get the taste of a dirty sock filled with rice (DIY heating pad) mixed with chloraseptic.
But if it does half of what everyone claims it will, i’ll still choke the stuff down.
Also, i still haven’t quite “gained TOO much muscle” yet, so i’m still waiting for that.
