Best Way I've Found to Shovel Down Cottage Cheese

Also, for those of us who for some reason do not want to add lots of sugar (even fruit) to cottage cheese, some people including myself find that adding regular pepper (the more the better) makes CC more edible. Yes its very strange, but it works for me.
I worked with a dude that did the same thing, pepper and nothing else. I just put it in the blender with my shake and chug it down.

How do you not like cottage cheese? I love the taste of it straight out of the tub.

And my Scandinavian genes make lactose my bitch.

Edit: I’m talking about the large-curd full-fat stuff. If you’re going for low-fat or small-curd, then you deserve what you get!

Peanutbutter and cottage cheese has always worked fine for me.

gross

No way, PB goes with EVERYTHING.
I remember Dan John said he spreads peanut butter on his beef burgers, and Martin Berkhan adds peanut butter to his egg whites…

I like it with applesauce. It makes me feel all bloated the next morning tho. All that damn sodium.
That actually happened to me last night. I’ve tried to drink less water before bed so that I don’t wake so often to piss (got it down to once per night now) but that coupled with some late night CC had me wake up feeling like dry shit. Bloated and dehydrated.

Not to turn this into a PB thread but try spreading PB over omelettes!
Also, PB makes tuna more tolerable.

I’m eating straight up cottage cheese as we speak! Man up, son!

Mix in a serving of sugar free Metamucil. All the sweetness without the sugar, plus extra fiber!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

COTTAGE CHEESE AND SALSA!

Nachos in a spoon.

+1…I usually add a small bit of Hershey’s cocoa powder to give it a sweeter taste…pretty god

Damn all of you who can eat cottage cheese without intra-abdominally exploding, and Damn you Lactose.
Betaine HCL and digestive enzymes. Bromelain helps a lot to brake down dairy. I just posted the same thing on another thread on the subject of protein absorbtion.

I used to blow up like a balloon. Not anymore. I eat tons of CC yogurt etc.

Also a months worth of chewable acidophilus pills will help.

Unless you’re eating sugar free pudding.
I thought that was obvious? haha

The other day I bought some low sodium cottage cheese. Biggest mistake of my life.

I’ve been doing “savory” CC, peanut butter, salt, pepper, etc. I’ll have to try it sweet now.

I don’t enjoy it…but I have no problem shoveling down cottage cheese plain. Just downed 2 cups of it like 30 min ago actually.

I only eat homemade cottage cheese. I’d hate to eat that store-bought garbage with anything. I feel for you if you have to eat that rank shit.

Just sprinkle some cinnamon on it. De-lish.

Just eat it plain, from the tub, with a spoon. Shovel it in and swallow. Don’t take the time to taste or chew it.

For those of you who have to flavor it up with chocolate and fruit, do you put on a pink dress while you’re eating it for chrissakes?

I ENJOY plain cottage cheese…am I abnormal?
In my defense, my father used to mix cottage cheese with a mashed banana and make it into a smiling face in my plate when I was a kid.
