My favorite of all time though is definitly White Man Can’t Jump. It has the perfect mix of good acting and incredibly cheesy yet somehow incredibly enjoyable basketball scenes. The dialouge kills me every time and I’ve probably seen it 20 times already. And don’t get me started on the amazing early-90s fashion either. Just amazing all-around.

MMMMmmmmmm
Rosie Perez!
I’d forgot about how good she looked in that!

I can’t believe everybody forgot Youngblood.
That was an amazing movie especially the part where Youngblood could skate around and around and around the goalie and nobody would touch him.
Beautiful story! Really!!!
I still have chills.
I can’t believe I paid to see that one.[/quote]
Yeah, but Cynthia Gibb has a rockin’ body. And she gets naked. For quite awhile. So I wasn’t too mad…

I wish I could find a copy of that movie, not just for me but also for my girlfriend. I think she’d really like it. It’s near impossible to find.
Any Given Sunday is awesome.
When we were Kings.
Recently I enjoyed Coach Carter.
I remember seeing one about a rookie basketball player called Jesus. I remember really enjoying it but cant think of the name. Anyone know?

Not to mention she knew every food that started with the letter Q!
He Got Game a Spike Lee movie starring Denzel Washington is a favorite of mine.
When We Were Kings should not be missed.

I got lucky a couple of years ago I went on eBay to buy Pumping Iron and found wound up getting that movie and Pumping Iron II for less than 20 bucks.
Send me a PM and I might be able to help you out with getting a copy.
I’m not all that into hockey, but Miracle definitely ranks as one of my all time favorite movies.

Cool Runnings
my vote goes to:
Vision Quest
Watch it before a big game.
I have a very soft spot for ‘The Natural’…
And while I’m not a Cruise fan and it’s not strictly a sport movie,‘Jerry Maquire’
So many classic lines in it!
I think all of my favorites have already been said…Rocky, Rudy, Hoosiers…
Last Boy Scout was good, a little light on the actual sports though.
Also, I’d highly recommend Rebound, not the Martin Lawrence debacle, but the Don Cheadle one. It’s the story of Earl “The Goat” Manigualt, the greatest basketball player never to play in the NBA…

Forgot to add this to my list, definitely agree. Always gets me pumped, although I still question why the wrestling coach has a wrestling singlet on over his polo shirt?
I’m a sucker for the guys trying to make it to the big-time…
