Best Rubber Gym Floor

I want to put down a rubber interlocking floor under my equipment at my home. Does anyone have any experience with any rubber interlocking gym floors?

What should I look for?

Which one is the best?

Thanks!

Go with stall mats. Cheaper and more durable.

Thanks for the tip! I never thought of that. Do you have any recommendations on where I should look to buy from or what I should Google to find a place? I Googled “stall mat” and for a 10’ x 12’ interlocking floor kit they run about $300. Does this sound high to you? I was hoping for much less.

Thanks again!

I think he’s talking about the 4x6 stall mats they have at places like Tractor Supply. They’re like 40-50 bucks each.

I see. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks a lot for that information.

No problem. But if you’re just going to lay it under equipment you can get away with cheaper ones. My bench and cage are on top of some interlocking mats I picked up at Costco. Very cheap. But if you want to drop dumbbells on them, then the horse mats are the way to go.

In Canada 4’ x 6’ x 3/4" stall mat is about $60. Will probably last 30 years with heavy use. Harder that shit to cut. Just be patient and watch that the knife doesn’t slip.

Might get myself some of this stuff too, cheers guys
