Damn you! I always hated “that kid” in high school!

It required a lot of hard work.

We had a guy bench 405 RAW as a freshman and win the lift-a-thon. [/quote]

So was your 315 raw?

I got 315 as a Junior and it only took me 2 years to hit 405. (raw)

Yes, I was a Junior in high school. I didn’t hit 405 until I was 19.

Then you must go to high school with this kid, since according to SI his lift is a world record for his age group: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/scorecard/faces/2007/07/23/

Nah. The Lift-a-thon was held at the end of the year. He could’ve been 15 or even 16. I have no idea. I just found out about it my Sophomore year.

I hit 425 @ 218 when I was 21 yo using the WSB method. Then I partially tore my peck and never really pursued it again.
