Belt Damaged?

Just bought a new elitefts p2 belt. Its my first belt so I’m pretty excited, except on one part theres a cut that is halfway through the belt. It only runs from the outside in about an inch. I can’t tell if this is typical thing with a leather belt or I should exchange for a new one. I want this thing to last me forever. I’ll throw up a pic but its hard to judge from the camera

I guess I’m mostly worried about the cut getting bigger over time/usage

You can’t really tell but the cut goes down the length of the belt a tiny bit on the inside end of that cut. LIke I said Idk if this is something to worry about or not. Seems like nothing right now, but idk if it will get bigger over time

Dude send it back and they will take care of it. I have the same belt and EliteFTS customer service is awesome. I have sent 3 separate shipments back for sizing problems (not quality defects) and they have always treated me awesome. One time they even had Jo Jordan call me back and talk shop about suits and lifting style for like 20 minutes which was pretty fing cool to say the least.

I’d send it back.

Ill send it back then. I almost want to exchange for a bigger size cause I’m kinda right between medium and large. I have two-3 holes to go up in the medium and 6-7 to go down. But if I got a large I would have the opposite. It’s tricky

Do you think you’re more likely to go up weight or go down?

@ fletch. For the short term in doing a mini cut to get my bf level in check for summer. Once summer is over though I’m gonna slowly work my way up though so it’s hard to answer that. Short term ill lose weight then maintain for a bit, long term I will def be going up

Get it bigger and wear a sweater if you end up cutting down low enough, should give you an extra pin or 2. And I can bloat a good 2 pins over maintenance, so if I were you I’d be worried I couldn’t fit it anymore
