Which Belt?

I am looking to buy one of these two belts, I will use it for deadlifting mainly, squatting, and probably overhead pressing. Anyways I think the only difference between the 2 is their width. COuld you guys let me know the pros and cons of each or a simple comparison as this will be my first, and hopefully last belt purchase. Thanks

The first one is the thicker one

if you plan to compete, buy the belt that fits that feds rules.

I don’t plan on competing in the near future but I would like to eventually. So I honestly don’t even know what federation I would compete under. I didn’t even factor that in when I thought about which one to get. Is there one kind that is generally accepted?

Thick one.

13mm and 4inch is legal everywhere. Don’t be stupid and waste your money on a 6.5mm belt…

Also my stomach is 38’. This is after bulking up for the past year and a half so there’s some fat there but not a ton. I’m a 34 waist for my jean size and I’m 6’2 220lbs up from 6’2 139. I’m looking to gain about 10 more lbs before I stop bulking. So the two sizes are this:

Medium 31’-40’

Large 35’-44’

I am planning on leaning out a bit over the summer. What size would be best?

If you can afford it, get both. One for when you’re fatter and one for when you’re skinnier.

CS

I def can’t afford it at the moment… but later on I guess I could get one if my size changes too drastically.

I am about your size… in the waist I’m 220 but only 5’7" so… either way I didn’t look at the belts cause it wont load for some reason but HIGHLY reccomend you get Inzer Forever Belt Large. Lever belt if your smart I absolutely love mine will never have another unless just need a different size.

x2 on the large inzer lever belt. Have had no issues with it. I have fluctuated from a fat 195 to 235 and back to a leaner 210at 5"10. I have found that I still had room more or (to shrink) and there was still plenty of room to adjust the belt. waist size has been between 32 and 37 with same belt. I love the lever belt for when you’ve just trashed yourself on a heavy set and it is so easy to undo.

I would go with a thicker belt OP. The 13mm belt will have enough give so that you can do deads, barbell rows, and military pressing without discomfort.
