Being Strong - Never In My Life

Never in my life would i have thought at 17 years old, 200-205 lbs at 10-12% BF that my Squat max would be 500 (wrapped and belted), that my deadlift would be 500 (belted) and that my bench would be at 315 (raw/no lift). It’s been a long road and its no where near finished.

Video please. Talk is cheap

Videos.

I will get videos asap because i know people most likely wont believe me until they see the videos but i wont be maxing with anything for another 4-6 weeks so i will remember to bring bring my camcorder with me when i do

how much is your raw squat and raw deadlift?

Is the squat free bar or Smith machine? The only reason is that there is a big, no huge difference in the two.

I can believe the bench, cuz I pushed 3 plates when I was 17. Granted I was alot heavier then, should be able to do it again soon though.

The squat however, seems unlikely that it is deep and in good form. Same with DL.

Are the lift numbers in grams or ounces?

I have no idea what the raw is for dead and squat…also to getswoles comment i can assure you that the form is very solid and is free weight, ive never used the smith machine in my life and never will. I will show it when i post the vids. I’ve been training since i was in about 10th grade. My weight also may be heavier as well because I weigh myself on my friends electronic scale and i feel as if those arent very accurate so if i was 210+ i wouldnt be surprised.

And I quote:

“You get a video of this “lift” and well believe you but until then you’re a joke.”

Sound familiar?

If you do post a video you’ll have my congratulations.

Not sure on the dead lifts but I did 3 sets of 450x6 when I was in HS. Never maxed, never went above 450. My bench was pathetic 185 as I never did upperbody.

All that was unwrapped and unbelted, but then again i’ve always had good legs.

So i can believe a 500 squat.

straight bar or hexbar on the deads cause i know the guys at my highschool use hex and they’re quite different.

How did you get this strong?

What programs/training styles have you used?

What has your diet been like?

What where your lifts and bf precentage when you first started?

I would greatly appreciate answers. Thanks.

a belt and wraps IS raw…

A belt and knee/wrist wraps are allowed in all RAW powerlifting feds I can think of.

I have a threesome with hot chicks every night, no I don’t have videos but trust me I do. Also my penis is over a footlong, what bitch.

I have an idea, post vids of yourself repping squat, DL, and bench with substantial weight, 365, 365, and 225 respectively for instance. Then you won’t have to get flamed for the next 4-6 weeks while you wait to max again. Put up decent rep numbers on these lifts and this thread won’t be such a joke.
Until then…
Prove it or pipe it

Not that the OP has proved anything yet, but how is everyone so fucking skeptical? Haven’t put up 3 plates? Haven’t squatted 500? Why would anyone value your posts on a bodybuilding website? He didn’t say he set a world record or anything. Fuck.

I believe it.

if you squat all the time sooner or later your squat will slowly catch up to your deadlift, add knee wraps and they could be even maxes.

a 500 squat at 17 is definatley within the relm of posibility…

Of course it dosent mean much over the internet with no video’s but thats besides the point.

To the OP: Nice job - starting competing.

To Kalle - 100% RAW does not allow wrist wraps, nor does the AAU’s Raw division. Almost no raw federation allows knee wraps, perhaps knee sleeves but that is a pretty big difference. They all do allow belts.
