If it works for you that’s all that matters. Gains an PRs don’t sound dumb to me.
There is a Rule of 50 template for BBB that this falls in line with. Pages 25-26 of Beyond 5/3/1.
You can do the 10x5 as speedwork. Helped me in the past to improve my bench.
