That was great to watch.

Flex is still my favorite of all time

I am always impressed when I see Ronnie train and pose, but then I see Flex and it’s just shocking how close to perfection he was.

I can’t wait to watch this tonight when I get home.

I really must thank you for posting this.

Totally agree. Probably had more gifts for BBing than anyone in history, IMHO.
He was robbed in more than one Olympia.

At his peak, I believe he’d be a major threat today.

Ronnie is the goat!

At the very least he has always been the better version of Dexter. lol

Just imagine if Flex was competing in peak condition when Dex won the Olympia? History would likely be different.

Cool video. Flex has an awesome physique. I wish they would have included Levrone’s training. He’s an entertaining guy.

Yep!

I often “forget” about Flex while being distracted by the new crop of guys today. But then I’ll catch an old pic of Flex and I’ll double-take for a moment, catch my breath and realize his greatness.

He is definitely one of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders ever, but at the same time the dude really worked for it. You will hear every BS argument people can come up with to try and tear him down, from synthol in his arms, calf implants, and the most common one “Flex is lazy in the gym, he just uses light weights”. Some people even say he lied and made the whole thing up about breaking his neck!

He was very intense when he was lifting, and I think the fact that he worked so closely with Charles Glass and used “weird” exercises instead of the typical squat and deadlift are part of the reason he looked so unreal.

He’s kind of my hero if you couldn’t tell. lol

DAMN You! I’m sitting here with a steak and potato watching Cormier press those 200# db’s. I’m looking at this steak thinking “Only about 40,000 more of these!”

The rest of my day is shot!

Wow @ ronnie posing! And fuck me, Flex is just total physical perfection. Ridiculous.

Is there any way to save these vids as files on a computer or are they locked away in youtube?

There are a lot of free programs on the web that can rip video/audio from youtube links - a quick google search should land you with something workable.

I’ve never gotten a chance to see Ronnie up close but from knowing and being around guys who compete around 240+lbs, I can’t even imagine what he looks like. It is shocking that any human body can hold that much muscle on its frame. It amazes me when I see him wear clothes because unless some of his size is illusion, there is no way in hell he can buy shit out of the stores. I guess that is why most of them are in work out gear nearly all of the time.

Shit like that makes me feel like I hardly even lift.

Jay Cutler’s headband = win.

Here you go X
The Orbit downloader works as well, but is a hit and miss on youtube.
VLC media player can play .flv files. Otherwise you’d need a flash video to .mpg or .avi converter.

ACK to Flex having been close to perfection bb-wise.

Interestingly, a lot of women enjoying built men and golden-age bodybuilders I’ve shown Flex’ photos around that time instantly took a liking to his build.

@ProX
I’ve been using videodownloadx.com for a few years, now.
