Long time site reader, and first time poster. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what a standard 7 foot barbell weighs (or is there a standard)?
Standard is 45lbs.
Of course if you already have a bar and want to know how much it weights I’d advise using a scale. Most specialty bars vary by manufacturer.

It’s at a gym - I suppose I could lug it over to the scale, I’d feel like a bit of a loser! I’ll go with your number, I’m pretty sure that it is a standard bar.
