Ballistic and Contrast Training

I’m currently doing rehab on my knee (torn acl), so have been primarily lifting upperbody in the gym. during therapy(3x/wk) i work on the legs (squats, leg press, lunges etc…)

im probly 3-4 week away from being cleared and will probably go back to my regular training routine (WS4SB3). how can i incorportate this two kinds of training methods to increase explosiveness for athletic performance?

im really focused on getting back to sports after almost 5 months of rehab and would really want to increase my explosiveness and power. any advice would be appreciated.

???

I’ve always been against bastardizing several training programs. When a coach writes a program he has a specific goal and method of action in mind. Adding stuff to it, even if it is effective stuff, can screw up the original program.

So if you want to keep doing the WS4SB3… do it, and don’t try to modify it.

Read the article there is a full dynamic day and even a speed template.
