I have recently been having back spasms while squatting. I am unsure whether it is a form issue or whether I’m not used to this much volume. I’ve recently started a hatch squat program since my meet. That program has me doing sets of up to 10, which compared to the doubles and triples I normally do is a big jump. Just wondering if this will go away with time, whether I’m doing something wrong, or if I need to just nut up and get used to it lol
Muscles can spasm if they are weak an unable to take the load put on them, and they can spasm from being overworked and are unable to take the load placed on them. So look into what you have been doing. Too much volume? Asymmetry? Weak stabilizers? You have to kind of figure it out for yourself, retrace your steps.

I think the elbows are fine relative to bar position on his back. Bringing his elbows forward would relax his back under the bar. His head does seem look down more as the reps progress, which could produce some neck strain. Otherwise, it looks good.
