SQ: Up to 2x3@ 245. Yup, that’s it. Still ‘hung over’ from the meet. Form was everything I don’t want to do.
Standing calf: 4x10@ 185
DB Hammer press: 8’s @ 50,50,60,70
OHP: 5x5@ 95
Alright, still recovering…I get it. I’ll get through this week, and really start back up again.
Thursday; still sore from my goodmornings-out of the hole SQ Tuesday.
DL’s: Up to 8x4@ 275. This was 2 conventional, then 2 sumo reps, per set.
Block pulls/ just below knees: 3x3@ 315. All lower back/lockout power on these.
Seated hammer row: 2x6@ 205; 3x6@235.
Hanging leg raise: 3x10
Facepulls: 3x10@ 130.
Friday, turned into Pump Day.
BE: Up to 4x4@225. First real BE since meet; so-so.
Wide grip: 4x6@ 135.
Pulldowns: 4x10@ 130
Pull overs: 4x10 @ 40.
A lot of band work/ lower body stretching mixed in.
Planned it right, and had NO time to lift lower body:)

8 weeks out…to the minute! Pretty sure I weigh in at 7am/ lift at 9.
That means, 4 hours after Miss F. does 17,000lbs. of Front SQ/ Farmer Carries; I’ll do 9 reps and go home.

A little time here so, some mild OCD-ing to follow.
Need to put 31lbs. on my total on 12/4. A little on BE (+5.5 maybe), DL @ +12 or so (to hit 400 at least) and the rest on SQ. All this to hit my 1000+ total. Last meet SQ was just trying to get through: Hindsight= more in the tank for sure.
12/4/16 is a year, to the day, of my first meet. Right after that, I set my pull 400+/ total 1000+ goal for this years training.

Much better than a participant ribbon from the sounds of things.
Based on your 3rd attempt videos from the last meet you are nowhere near t you max yet. 1,000+ is definitely achievable in 8 weeks.

As for the lifts, Thanks, and since I’m not doing anything drastic (or stupid) going in, I’ll be just fine. Training hard, and soaking up holiday carbs, should put me up some LBM too.
Oh that’s right, I lifted last night…
SQ: Many lower weight/rep sets, up to 4x1@ 265. That’s it, with a couple back off sets.
Mid-incline DB press: 2x12@ 40’s (flyes on these), 10@50,60/ 4x10@ 70’s.
Took a pic, sent it to a P.W. I know because I thought of her. Our giant red Farmers carry apparatus thing…I mainly just try to work around it:)
Monday PM session at work; because I count everything:)

Shrugs: 10 reps @ 65’s…

Smith close st. SQ: 8@ 135,135,185/ 4x8@ 225. Slow lowering, explode up, no lockouts.
Seated Ham: 10@ 105,120,135/ 3x10@150. Hard squeeze on these.
45* back raise: 4x10@ +45plate.
Seated row machine: 10@ 80,100,120/ 3x10@ 140

Word got out at the high rise that he went 9 for 9 at his last meet. The invitations and gifts have been coming in at a record pace since then for z.
OG, with a comedy ‘call-back’, as we say in the business!!
And then there’s DaveB. You are correct; I’ve received the following in the last 2 weeks.
***A few fancy Trader Joe type sodas (I don’t know what that means either).
***Some home grown tomatoes.
***Collard Greens, fresh from a different garden.
*** A “special pen”…" for all the writing you do". It’s a nice pen.
An odd collection, no doubt, but always appreciated.

DB low hammer press: 10@ 50,50,60/ 3x10@ 70’s.
That was it. Felt the heavy/paused L.P. later that night.
