G’morning Y’all,
How is everyone? I haven’t been logged in for a few years now so I figure I’ll give you guys an update, here it goes…I’m fat again! To be honest, in my eyes I was never skinny before but now I’m fat.
For those of you who don’t know me/ are new to the forums/ or forgot I existed, I am 23 years old, 6’7 and at my lowest I weighed 208 and wasn’t lookin’ bad. My fitness path slowed due to my mother needing wheel chair help. Every morning I took her to work, dropped her off, I went to work, got off and had to pick her up. Ultimately pushing my entire schedule out of whack.
I am a firm believer in Newton’s law “An object at rest stays at rest, and an object in motion stays in motion” Once we got my mother into the house after work, I would sit and after that it was all over. I slowly stopped hitting the gym, I prioritized making dinner and it rarely healthy. Needless to say, I fell out of routine and that was all she wrote.
Now I am 23YO 6’7 and weighing in at big 260.2 I dislike it. I feel uncomfortable and it’s going to change. In one of my previous posts I asked what everyone used their fitness for, sports/ yard work/ every day health the body needs. I started playing paintball at 10, I stopped around 16 due to it costing so much. Within the past year I have picked it back up and am playing competitive.
Competitive paintball is no joke. Its fast paced, strategic and you get to shoot people. A major thing I want to focus on this time around is my cardio vascularity, my running speed and my confidence. My couch says I’m built like a Minecraft character. I’m blocky, robotic, my hips are locked into a certain way and I just don’t flow like others. I don’t have the confidence to dolphin dive onto the floor, I think it’s because I’m just so high up.
I will be jumping on the Kizen program and i will post my workout screenshots in my next post. I want to focus on getting my cardio in more. I am moving in the beginning of September to a very hilly place and want to take advantage of running up and down hills. I will keep try to keep everyone updated as to how the program/weight loss/ and team stats are.
