Joe,
Has your bench shot through the roof or am I misreading your old posts (I do that from time to time), great work and lots of it.

No you aren’t wrong, right now my bench max is around 325 and I paused bench 285 regularly during lifting. My bench stagnated for a long time and finally I started thinking that no program was going to for for me on all three lffts and I started playing around with things.

Well I do have a kilt but I don’t think anyone would like to see me in it.
Go by my log, people put up with pics of anything. I’ll post my pic in a kilt if you do!

Oh god damn, I cannot back down from a challenge. I’ll dig the damn thing out.

Gotta love the high rep work in here…you got the three wheel bench easy now, have you hit the 4 plate squat, I think I remember you squatting 380 for 3…405 will be cake for you.

I’ve hit 315 on bench and 405 on squat a bit back. I’ve pulled abck a bit and started to work reps at a slightly lower weight for a while to give me joints a bit of a break before heading back up.
Damn you won. Mine will still have to be Sunday…
Solid work all around Joe

Yep, back when I ran all the time my back was always bitching at me. When I gave that up and started doing heavy deads and squats it started feeling so much better.
Nice work for being tired. A bunch of my extended family had a similar effect from running, a bad back but I haven’t. Funny, I have a relative whom is an elite yoga person and is a long time vegetarian. The doctor recently told her she has the worst back he’s ever seen and her joints and bone structure is horrible. The doctor explained the most likely cause is her diet and the yoga. Hmm…I will stick with weights.
Julia L crushing the rows.

I’ve got a nasty bone brusie on my shoulder from my middle ages combat fighting and it hurt like hell when I benched today. So I dropped the number of reps a bit and got it done. Should be fine in a few days.
