Back at it, Sort of

Gotta love it when hours after a heavy squat or dead lift session your getting up from a chair and suddenly the air is filled with specs and stars or a bit hazy. Then you know you really worked.

You guys crack me up.

Squats

10x135
8x160
8x185
8x225
8x255
8x285belt
6x315
1x345
1x375
wraps
4x315
8x275
15x225

I was going to say I like this rep scheme but like is a really strong word. It would be more accurate to say I’m getting stronger and developing some quad sweep though it sucks balls sometimes.

Bench

10x135
8x160
8x190
8x210
8x230
5x255
3x275

Kroc Rows

3x20x100

A little pressed for time so got in, got some stuff done, and got out.

You should have to calculate out the tonnage for us with that much volume. I started, but I got carpal tunnel typing it in the calculator…

Your bench and Krock work looks great. That’s a ton of reps with a lot of weight.

Nice work Joe. Impressive.

Damn Joe you are kicking some ass. Some good work and I don’t know if 5/3/1 would really help or not given your progress lately.

Eventually I will go back to 5/3/1 for certain. Right now though I’m going to ride this as long as I can. I’m going on vacation in two weeks for five days in the moutains that I’m going to count as a delaod.

I have actually thought about calculating total weight lifted and trying to increase that to see if it drives my 1RM.

100x3x20 is legit…how did the 375 squat feel, is a 4 wheel attempt on the horizon?

5 days in the mountains sounds like nirvana.

I’ve been hitting 405 for a single for a while now, but I’ve backed back down a bit and I’m trying to hammer the reps on the ramp down for a bit and then get back to the heavier singles.

I’m not going into a meet until Feb and right now I’m looking at opening at 345-350, second attempt at 385, and last at 425-430.

Of course a lot can change in four months.

Yes it does, nothing but hiking, hot tubs, pancakes and relaxing.

Waffles!

He is already carrying around a hot tub, you can’t expect him to hike with a waffle iron too…

I cannot express how swollen my quads are.

You Swole! I think all that squatting may qualify as cardio-great work.
