If I continue to eat like I have been, there will be more baby in my back soon.
Went with my daughter (almost 18) and her friend for a run the other day.I would look at them and it was if
they were running on air, how is that possible? I wont even say what I felt like, cause Im sure thats what i looked like. I realized i still have no lung power, they were way ahead for the straight away but as soon as a little incline or hill, I would catch up.

I had the BBer girl counting for me on 3rd 4th sets, that helped me stay tight not thinking about what i was on. I am getting better at staying tight while in that pause/hole
Not sure i liked the half reps in the leg press, maybe just not used to the movement, id rather go higher reps then half rep, low back wise.
It was a good sesh, I impressed some 70+ yr old that called me āRuggedā for doing the pausing BSS. Kinda funny because he was doing walking lunges and inspiring ME!
Im left thinking I could have upped weights on a couple things, but over all I did fine.
TODAY
ā¦I know i wasnt going to, but stress made me do it!
push ups, wall climb, dive bombers YTW band pull a parts ā¦Im sure im missing something
FLAT BENCH
bar/10 x3 really felt like i wanted more light warm up
65/5
75/5
85/5
95/5 +1 repā>Ill take it
85/5 pause felt pretty easy, think i was paused long enough.
When my gym got moved a couple things got a little bent, and the floor is sloped for basement drain, so im trying to put pieces of box under so bench not wobbly. I had putting rug under it suggested to take up some slack, any suggestions would be welcome. I may see if i can order new pins to hold bar or pound them in more where need to. Thank God I was smart enough to take my bar with me.
MP strict
45/5

55/5
65/5
70/5 +1 ill take it and go back to 65 for more reps next. Over head pressing today looked strong ![]()

Not enough cellulite to even think about. The title of this thread is fitting. Nice pause work with the 95 bench.

Good effort with your benching, you appear to look good.
I noticed the music in the background, interesting it isnāt metal/hardcore sort of thing (not that I never listen to it myself). I thought to suggest a Canadian project called the Hylozoists. They combine elements into what I would describe as alternative pop classical and I think are quite excellent. I have their āla fin du mondeā album, and they have another called āla nouvelle gaucheā.
Up- Bench set up looked great as usual and form seemed pretty darn good. The only thing holding you back from a much higher bench IMO is your triceps. G msy be thinking this aw well as I noticed he programmed dips first in one of your workouts last week.
I noticed you said dips never seem to feel easy, my question is are you feeling them in your triceps? I ask because some dip bars are set wider than others and you end up feeling them more in your chest that in your triās. Obviously there are a lot of good movements that directly target your triceps so if the dips arenāt doing that G can switch them out with something that does. Keep up the good work!
DeadKong I was mainly playing a slower type music, to hopefully get me to go slower. I will check out your music suggestions, cant have enough music!
Also It may sound weird but that kind of music gets me in a good zone.
DBASLER you are right we have been working on getting tris stronger, and they are. The dips never feel easier because i am getting reps added and trying to do them with out as much rest. I do use a lot of chest, but my tris are shaking like mad and I definitely feel them. However I will need to bring back the NG bench, they
kill my tris! Thanks for reminding me.
Hi Up. Youāve got some good work happening in here. I like that you are 100% focused on just about everything. Itās a sickness, yes? But the best kind.
Good job.

Best meds EVER
thanks
Couple things. First and foremost obviously my training doesnt revolve around the bench. I LOVE ALL kinds of upper body lifts. Dont get me wrong for some crazy reason I do LOVE BENCHING. I say crazy because a lot of women dont āuseā the bench press. I do think that even the Incline hitting my āupperā chest is more beneficial to what I want to see.(more zipper effect, and well less boney upper chest, lol) plus ya know with boobies , umm its more about the lats. Anyway so thats why NG got bumped on second day, to do more āupper chestā. My desire to master dips/chins, bring back MPā¦There is just only so much to work on ![]()
Also my sticking point has moved up as Im getting better with the towel bench, which does over load the tris, I sure feel them anyway!
^^^^ If you read all that, basically I do flutter around some, but my goal is and always will be to keep excited about training and maintain a decent bod. G1 just has to listen to me and believe me/you I would be way more scrambled if he let me do everything I wanted that at one point i loved and or it āworkedā, Im not exactly easy to say NO to, Im good at my ālet me tell you why Iā¦ā
So there you have it.
Good job, it looks like the pressing is coming along nicely.

Hi Joe, thanks on pressing
As you know its all about that āsweetā spot, waitā¦and the set up and the tightness and the ā¦hahaha But seriously I do best when I just think of ques early on, do the visualize thing and just bench.
Im having a tuff time with rack being off, hopefully I can figure out how to fix it.
Iām interested in getting a TRX set. Have you ever heard of it. Itās all bodyweight using these bands with hand or foot loops. I met somebody who showed me a few exercises and they are very intense and challenging. Extreme core work. If you want to add another facet to your training which will assist with your lifting TRX may help. I will get a TRX in the future.

Hip thrusts were a bust I was done! Not enough fuel, back said mercy.
Kinda bummed on FS. Ive gotten 95/3 so 93/5 is a wash. Thing is I had WAY more in me today. I know i dont have to āgo for itā every lift sesh, but lets face it, when weight moves so nice, why not? I really want a deload so I may go after 95 or even 97 next week then back off on other stuff.Have to play it by ear, see how i feel.
wasnt going to post it, but its nice to have here, turn the sound down ![]()
Front Squats looked good. No way is 5x93 a wash with 3x95 it is much better. I donāt have the max calculation formula Wendler uses in front of me but someone on here can run the numbers and todayās will come out much higher. Good job!
DOnt be bummed on your front squats. They will get stronger and stronger each time. You are doing great!
