I will keep your dad in my prayers…
Good luck to your father!!
Glad to hear things went well. Best of luck to you and your dad.
So glad to hear that UP.
Now tell me this, how many old men have you given heart palpitations to from the sight of your bomb bod in a bikini? I bet lots.
Really happy to hear about the good news Up.
Great new avatar, appropriately named log. ![]()
so happy for your dad and the family.
Glad things went well
good news about Pops~
and…nice avi…
Great news Up! So happy for you and your family that all went well. Now I know where you get your toughness from :). Keep hanging in there!
Ahh, thanks everyone!
Now I have my mental focus coming back, I’m
looking forward to kicking MY butt!!
Also I learned the hard way about not wearing a belt while
benching alone. Sucks when your stuck cause
you can’t roll the bar off you!! :-o
Going to dig out some older templates, keep
The 3 B lifts, definitely torture myself more with
Prowler, spin unless it’s warm enough to get
on my trail bike. Eating, hmmm cleanish, but
Not dropping below 120, I really, really like
my curves, and I think I will see enough ab
def. To be satisfied.

You’re not benching in your rack? Set those safety pins!!

Just catching up here. Good news about your dad. Will say a prayer for his recovery. ![]()
HARA
I always use safeties but had it low
And with the belt sticking up I couldn’t slide
It down tummy like I usually do. I’ll admit I
panicked.
Kbgal
thanks!

We’ve all been there. It’s a bad feeling, to be sure.
Glad all went well for your father. I hope the trend continues.
And good to see you here.
I’ve never tried it, but I’ve read that if you leave the collars off when you bench, you can tilt the bar and slide the weights off one end (then the other) if you get stapled.
Hey UP, glad to hear about your dad, great news!!! Nothing but the best to you and your family.

Ok, try this…your neck sits lower than your chest. Set the safety bars so they stop the bar above your neck. That way if you fail on your chest there’s no rolling it the length of your body just turn your head and slip out from under the bar.
Hey Snap! Well with G on his retirement(lol)
I didn’t even mention I was going to try with
the belt…I’ll be sure to bug him with questions
next time!
PG glad you approve of my AVI for your log;)
Yea, I think Mashy does the no collar thing, I
think I’ll be skipping said belt for now on.
Dday thanks, this Moffitt Cancer Center is amazing!!!
His doctors were dubbed “The Dream Team”.
Hara …Well that sounds good, but when I fail
the bar usually is below my bewbs, so I’ll just
skip the belt. I’m pretty sure I had an out of body
experience, getting the bar racked :-o
What a day… Heading home tomorrow.
I can not wait to push/pull/pump!!
Seriously, I think I started salivating when I typed it ![]()
Oh Up…Up…Up…i retire for a few days and your benching with a belt on, not getting rack set right, missing reps…
just kidding, just kidding. I am ready to come out of retirement though…too boring lol. So feel free to bug away!
Also the visual of the whole bench scene is priceless! Of all the vids i have watched of your training i wish i would have gotten that one…oh my. We’d be chuckling over that one for a while. I am sure it was terrifying at the time but now that your safe it would have been very entertaining…and i am sure a few priceless words were flying too!
Travel safe.
