Was jacked about your squats yesterday. You have wanted a breakthrough for so long! I really thought your squats looked like much more of a natural movement, tweaks are paying off! Also thought that is the most consistent you have squatted from rep to rep and set to set, and so so close to nailing depth every time. That consistency will really make it easier to tweak things next workout! Last thing is with that consistency from rep to rep you were able to really grind through some tough sets, whereas before you might hit an awkward rep (bend forward etc) and stopped. That will pay huge dividends in reaching your goals. One thing to work on is that little knee shift forward at the bottom of the squat. Not meaning knees coming forward during squat but that little shift right before hitting parallel. We can talk about that before the next squat session.
Be good to get back to old template! Awesome job girl!!!

Yea, Ill get there, or maybe not, or ill get there with ugly form. If only my legs were as
strong as my willā¦thanks for being patient!

I noticed that as well. But decided to keep mum. Until now.[/quote]
I think my strong core/back lets me sneak in a lot, wish my legs would catch up in strength.

Up, this is pretty much how I felt the first time I pushed our sled! Couldnāt figure out why all the others could make the trip back without losing nearly as much speed as I did. Answer: I had no legs! Then I had to ask a friend to walk me to my car ājust in caseā as I was really light-headed and heart was still pounding for quite some time afterwards.
Once I built up the legs a bit, Rick coached me to pace better: push 3/4 speed on the way out, then full sprint on return trip, and it has worked better that way for me when we have heavier weight loaded.
W/your drive, I suspect it wonāt be long before youāre doing multiple passes w/extra weight. Keep at it and have fun!
Jean
Ah yes the prowler! So much fun. That whole love/hate thing. Canāt wait for the weather to be warm here again so I can push mine.
Glad you like the new gym, youāre gonna flurish there fer shizzle.
Are you and G1 doing some sort of super secret routine somewhere, not as yet available to the general public? At least post some eye candy for your fans.
KBGAL I hear ya, I will work on it, thanks! The legs are getting stronger, slowly but surely!
Dday Ill try to send some nice clear warm weather your wayā¦I was thinking ill push pull etc and was happy just to do what I did, lots of room to improve!
Lula ā¦WHAT? You got a texted shmexy twin back pic, now you want MOAR? haha
PG Shhhhhhhhhh dont give it away.
Ive been back in full swing, just have a few things to get through and just wasnt feeling posting.
I am loving my bench, Im holding way tighter and my grip is feeling good, just have my Narrow Grip to fiddle with.
Had a nice smooth 2 for 85/8 (rep pr) and felt like i had more in the tank.
Im going to buck up and do more single leg work. Hit box squats to get that dialed in.
Ummm and I seem to keep going back to just wanting to look good nakkid, I still worked hard and still made strength gains, but it wasnt such a focus on the weight.
Spinning today was great for my leg recovery from yesterday, if i want nice legs Im going to have to keep
this up.FUG it is hard WORK!! (funny you posted PG, cause I know you spin, i always have you run through my head) or is it spinā¦
Lurker here. Saw āBaby Got Backā and my interest was piqued. Great progress from your 2008 pics. Reading through your thread {12-12-2011}, the GMās are done very well! Shooting your hips back is what you should be doing. Practice that very same technique on your RDLās (I noticed your lumbar spine flexes when descending). The key is to push your hips rearward and allowing the torso to move forward/downward naturally.

Yea well cant take credit for the name. Yea, on spine, amazing how the max lifts bring out the flaws, Ill keep on it, thanks.
Im still hereā¦have a lot going on and not really much to post. I used to LOVE to come to TN to get myself charged up, lately that hasnt been working. I need to step back from the train wrecks and visit places of motivation, many are killing it, and thats cool.
Maybe its me, but the āVIBEā feels different.
Have a little trip next week, so not sure ill post much for a couple weeks, probably wont be going for any crazy shit, have something heavy on my mind.(dad) Soā¦
Been training hard, and just racking up some reps. Did legs yesterday and hit glutes hard with the hip thrusts, shocked Im not more sore. Not sure if not taking a day off or the shoveling was too much but was hoping for a bit more outa bench today. Did rep pr the 85 last week but ill post this weeks vid -geeze thought i had that 9th rep, and the 10 rep dl vid was after all my major dls so was happy i held as tight as i did, hung on for a little extra grip work ! Thats about it gang!
Hey Up, looking Badass with the deadlifts. And next time I spin, Iāll be saying to myself: somewhere, Up is working harder than you, so shape up!
I get you on the VIBE thing, thank goodness the post-workout endorphins never change. Also went through your other thing just a couple years ago. Weāre that age, sucks butā¦
Take care of yourself Up. Feel free to post those progress pics whenever you feel like it again!
PG Spinning is like weights, it never gets easy, because when it eases up we go heavier, shorter rests etc. Spinning = same thing, it gets easier you dial it up and or go faster.
LOVE THAT!! Come on VMO haha Dont think Ill have any changes, just trying to hold my own right now, that being said, dont ease up, cause Im not!!
Yea, on the parent front, things have been going ok so I am very hopeful of a good outcome.
Cav your funny! Hope your job is going well, havent had a chance to even lurk in there.
