HAHA! That’s adorable!! And I certainly wouldn’t knock being a Zumba instructor. It does look kinda fun…But I’m latina, anything noisy that involves ass shaking looks like a good time. LoL! (bad Maschy, I can say this, they’re my people)

Anyways, whenever I get too “into” lifting, I always think that I really need to incorporate more “girly” things into my exercise like zumba, or yoga, or something! Thank god for my pilates, but even still, I only do that 1x a week.

Do you ever do pilates btw? I wish you could take the class I take (its bar method, mat-based in case you ever come across anything like it). You’d be so incredible at it and I think you’d love it - strong core, stretches AND strengthens! I highly recommend if you need something “girly” to throw in the mix. Most pilates classes can be boring, but everyonce in a while you find a gem. I’ve been with this instructor for 5+ years!! If you ever come to NYC, I’ll take you!!

My wife loves the zumba, and she’s Latina, so go figure, eh? She’s from NYC too. Coney Island. Great pic, Up. Those front squats looked really solid and in control; really good. What you’re doing, it’s working!

Looking great! I thought for a second I was still over in SAMA’s T-Vixens log. Keep up the excellent lifting and cross-training.

If being hot is wrong, I don’t wanna be cool!

thats it, I was done! VID is the dips and 60/65/70 MP

awesome training going on in here -

pics are killer too~~~!

Hi Up!

Dips and OHPs looked real good and strong, great work!

If I may make a suggestion. That rack is pretty much like mine. When doing dips I find if I wanna work my tri’s more that I face away from the rack. & when wanting more emphasis on the chest, do them exactly how you were doing them.

Guess it depends on what muscle group you’re trying to hit.

Heyyyy there you are
Thanks on that, could you explain why? I thought (yes, puff of smoke) that closer arms are to my body works more tri, and a little lean arms out some is upper chest? Maybe I alt reps. cause I hate the boiness in upper chest(it is filling out or in however you want to look at it) but yea, my sticking point in bench is where i fail at dip, so obviously need that too.

Sorry so long.

^Well, after seeing your vid you’re leaning into the rack & hitting more chest. Turn it around & try it, see if it doesn’t put most if not all the stress on your tri’s & shoulders.

& if you struggle on grinding out your last 1-2 reps, take that slider from your rack, slip it into the the number one hole & you can use your feet as a little helper.

EDGY my vids are almost always the same ol’ so thoughts Id throw in a pic

TY Dips are killer, be kinda cool when i can rep them out staying deep.

Getting very good at the dips UP. OHP looks strong as well. Happy weekend.

:frowning: that would feel like cheating to me, but ill try the opposite way, although I have been trying to hit more chest. The tris need to get stronger too.
Thanks
