Dang, how has it taken me so long to thoroughly stalk you? I’m impressed with the lifting and the hot bod. A healthy buggy for sure! I remember being told once by a patient in the hospital I volunteered at, “damn girl, you got yourself a black girls bootie!” Best compliment, ever!
I saw you write in Snap’s log about the primrose oil and the amount that you take…I took it a short while back and had the same benefits as you, but felt like I was spending loads of $$ on it…do you find it from a supplier or do you just suck it up and buy from a normal store?
Anyway, looking super hot and great lifts, keep at it!
Thanks!
Its hard to get around to all the logs…So I made sure to stalk in yours and I did see you have a meet coming up, it may even be the one Im considering going to, if we dont get blasted with snow.
AND WOW girl, now YOU have an arch, Im going to have to study that, maybe get a vid from your head so i can see how up on the shoulders you are, looks too far for me, but i can try,lol
The primrose, I either get it while im at grocery store or if i plan ahead iherb.com has it for 15 something for 250 softgels 500 mg. I get some other stuff so not a big deal on shipping.
I do go off it now and then but after a couple months remember why i like it. Seems to take the edge of that “time” too, which is a win!

Your form on everything looks damn good. Like the snow shoveling warm-up too. Wish I could convince my wife to do that…
This shoveling would get old, very very fast. It was a great warm up though.

No way! Let me know if you end up going. I’ll be the one with the quizzical look on her face.
Also, on bench, I do think about driving my upper traps into the bench, so I may be pretty high up on the shoulders.

WAY! Ha, Yea Im about 1:20 away if roads/weather are like now. (If i stalked correctly :))
Ive never been to a meet, so I thought it would be cool to get a look see. I wish i knew how to help you out, but havent a clue myself. As the date gets closer Ill keep you posted.
I read the first few pages of your log, you are just a baby :), and the last few. I am excited for your to compete!
Ive hit abs a couple times that i forget to mention…
I also still have this damn cold thing, I hardly ever get sick, YUCK!
I know its not possible but i feel like Im shrinking and Im definitely uber pale
Im not sure if I want to go back and grab day 3 I missed, my heads a little woozey today, although
I do have the side rails. I guess Ill see how I feel later. I have said that jan would be just a maintain & or back off a bit month…little did I know!
Im just not used to this not kicking my ass thing, and maybe Ill get a burst of energy later!!
Feeling ok today, Ok enough to shovel, yea this shoveling is a love hate thing. My core loves it, but Id be fine if not another flake fell…
Training
warm up then once i started i stopped and warmed up more.
squats
45/5
65/5
85 3x6 although i got 7 once. Hit depth, stayed more up right, didnt get hung up on knees.
Front squat
75 3x6 set 2 vid, feels like forever since doing FS.
GM
85 3x8
walking lunges
started with dbs 25s and my weight vest, ummm yea, my hips said NO WAY,so…
25s x 10 each leg
20s x "
15s x "
10s x "
body weight x 10 each leg
HIP THRUSTS shoulders up on bench
3x10 with 15-20 sec rest between sets
My mouth was so dry, think my head cold has me parched, plus i didnt load up after shoveling.
Im ready to get some good ZZZZZZZssssss *crosses fingers
Picture looks a little washed out, but my core is super tight right now. Its like G said Id probably settle around 122-123 and get tighter. Im 122, not that i care what the scale number is, but its some type of gauge.
I started in May at 117, and my start start was 108-110. So…alls good.
Yes Git, a little leg muscle is showing.
That is my weak link. Im thinking that besides eating LOTS, the higher reps were good for me. I know I work in both high/low/med, but the higher weight stuff really beats the shit out of me. I will stay play around with it, just to see where Im at, but if im ever going to get more “pop” on these legs higher reps will be my best friend, recovery is quicker even though right after I feel like I was trampled by a bunch of Zumba crazies, the size of matty hahaha OH that was Matty hehe
Serious though, keep just maintaining threw Jan, then hit it harder in Feb and start killing it march april
blah blah, throw in some spin, trail hill riding and some running sprinting, I better frickin see some more change in my legs! No, not all three things listed above, Ill probably do one day spin in feb mid feb then maybe 2 of something in march, thats probably all ill be able to handle.
Yep, you’re looking freaking killer, Up! Seriously!! I covet your waistline.
And Hilarious on the buggy comment! That’s a great compliment and a testament to your hard work! Love it!
Its awesome to hear that you’re figuring out what works for you - what puts on muscle, what leans you out, etc. I think that’s half the battle really, and something that I’m also just learning! It just goes to show, you gotta do what works best for you and your body type in light of your goals. And what you’re doing is clearly working! Its so fun to watch your progress.

Lol @ zumba crazies! I LOVE watching them!!
Must be my cute PJ top and my long underish pants I wear under snow pants, such a sexy look haha.Come to think of it, I trained in my PJ top too.
Yea Ill figure this out. I know whatever I do this month will show up next but hopefully It is at least where i am at now.
My daughter said to me recently, Mom if you dont want to do hair again I know what you would be great as…YUP, she says Teach Zumba . PUUULEASE. OK I do like to have fun but…
HAHA! That’s adorable!! And I certainly wouldn’t knock being a Zumba instructor. It does look kinda fun…But I’m latina, anything noisy that involves ass shaking looks like a good time. LoL! (bad Maschy, I can say this, they’re my people)
Anyways, whenever I get too “into” lifting, I always think that I really need to incorporate more “girly” things into my exercise like zumba, or yoga, or something! Thank god for my pilates, but even still, I only do that 1x a week.
Do you ever do pilates btw? I wish you could take the class I take (its bar method, mat-based in case you ever come across anything like it). You’d be so incredible at it and I think you’d love it - strong core, stretches AND strengthens! I highly recommend if you need something “girly” to throw in the mix. Most pilates classes can be boring, but everyonce in a while you find a gem. I’ve been with this instructor for 5+ years!! If you ever come to NYC, I’ll take you!!
