I had the best workout this morning. I went up to Red Rocks (any fellow Coloradans out there who have been up there?) to run the stairs. At 6am, the morning is just starting, the sunrise is gorgeous, it’s quiet, peaceful–and I’m kicking ass up the stairs. 15 times up, alternating sprinting up the stairs and taking the bleachers.
From there, off to the gym. It’s about a 20 minute drive from Red Rocks to my gym, just enough time to recover. I did the following superset 3 times:
Glute-ham raises (just negatives at this point, but I’m working on it) x10
Reverse hypers x 10
Dragon flags x % (the first set I was able to actually do both the concentric and eccentric, but sets 2 and 3 were just negatives)
THEN
1 set of pull-up, wide grip x 10
1 set of hindu pushups x 25
1 set of pull-ups, neutral grip x 10
1 set of pushups with my toes on a swiss ball x 15
1 set of pull-ups supinated grip x 10
1 set of dips x 10
Man, was I ever fried. Not too bad for a chick huh? I have to say, none of it would have been possible without all the information I get off this website. Thanks to T-Mag and everyone for all their ideas, questions, etc. There is no other place to learn so much about effective working out.
