Athletic Sites

in an imperfect (unperfect?) world, where T-Nation is not enough, does anyone know of some good, reliable websites/forums fully or partially devoted to athletes and training (possibly for football[american]?) other than DeFranco’s site? ive googled and have only come up with crumby sites with nothing but 13 year old kids asking why the suck at sports.

any input with links would be great

if you happen to know of any good e-books/good reads ill be happy to absorb the info.

thanks

Thier are none. Believe me, I’ve searched for a LOOOOOOOOONG time.

Yeah! Check out Kelly Baggett’s www.higher-faster-sports.com

Great Info.

I also recommend all 3 of his books

great post truth…

i actually recall reading these articles a few years ago. funny how a little more time in the weight room will change your outlook on these articles. thanks again for the post

I don’t know about forums, but check out:

(articles and Q and A)

(Q and A)

I second Kelly Bagget’s site. The guy knows his stuff.

Also, I would have to recommend both

www.inno-sport.net

and the corresponding forum

www.dbhammer.proboards43.com

www.charliefrancis.com/community

All of these sites are great and will help you in any athletic endeavor.

Anyone have a review of Innosport’s DVD "“How to Run Faster” Any thoughts? Does it just focus on linear speed or will it apply to “game speed” as well.

Thanks.

While I personally don’t have the DVD, I would recommend you buy it if new to the Inno-Sport system.

From what I’ve heard, it goes over the basics of the system in an easy to understand manner. If you know the material already, it would probably be a waste though.

If you are interested in the Inno-Sport methods, I would first buy the book, and then read everything on the website. Especially the Chris Korfist articles if speed is your thing.

Personally, I can’t speak highly enough of the Inno-Sport system of the contributors. I’ve PR’ed on every lift, every session, for the past several months, and my progress shows no signs of slowing down.

A word of caution, however, the closer you follow the system, the better your results will be. Don’t try to hybrid it, just do it exactly like it says.
