As Close As I Can Get to a 6 Pack

Why would neglect your triceps for fighting purposes? As a striker, they’re essential, along with a strong core and legs.[/quote]

I was wandering the same thing, Call me crazy but when I do do a punch I use my shoulder, chest, and hips, and TRICEPS.

Guys you’re completely wrong, he needs a STRONG CORE for fighting, not to be a pussy ass bodybuilder, all show no go. Why would he do arm exercises when fighting is all about how your entire body works together, who cares if triceps are ‘essential’ for arm extension movements, hes gotta use his abs to really push his weight into his opponents, duh.

Seriously guys I don’t know wtf you guys are thinking you must have never ever fought in any fight so quit dissing on my hero for fighting as a featherweight. Its obvious that he cant put on mass because he has other priorities, and although this is a body building site and really all that matters in the RATE YOUR FUCKING PHYSIQUE forum is how your physique looks, hes up to 170 now guys.

He just lost/broke/blew up/misplaced/lent to a friend his camera. Duh guys. You should cut him some slack hes obviously keeping his weight low so he can completely DOMINATE the lower weight classes, but I’m sure you pussy bodybuilders wouldn’t know anything about a real man, or what his goals in life are. Especially when you feed him some nonsense about biomechanics and throwing a punch pfft.

Do you not understand that he was making fun of you?

He’s 170 lbs now, but isn’t showing a new picture since his bulk is all fat. However, gaining all fat while bulking is an odd occurrence especially when doing effective, testosterone-boosting exercises like kickbacks.

Lol, kickback are defenetly not a testo-boosting exercise but when
done with intense contraction and longer time under tension, its a excellent isolation exercise IMO especially when done after a couple sets of press

If you owned triceps that are capable of kicking back 45 lbs, I am sure that they would at least be visable to the naked eye no?

This thread is making me hungry. I am going to Wendy’s to get some spicy chickens out of fear of dropping below 200# again.

your ownage has gone to far. I’m now upgrading to you PWNED.

It seems that you have a fast metabolism or maybe you are just starving yourself. Seriously, you have the potential to look much better. Yes you will hear this a lot, especially if you log-on to a site dedicated to building quality muscle. EAT!!! If your body is capable of throwing of fat easily than consider yourself lucky. It has been said on this thread before, increase your amount of calories, concentrate on compound movement mainly and follow one of the routines available on this site. First gain some muscle and then worry about the “six pack”.

OH MY GOD

This is a pm he sent me

"Its nice to see that there is at less one smart person over here!

Thanks bro

peace"

that one person clearly isnt him.

@emjay777
Ne te faches pas.

IMHO you’ve got a good physical base to improve on. Calling you skinny is delusional BS, but then again there are lots of self-delusional people even here on T-Nation fancying themselves quite the beasts and giving out a plethora of undifferentiated BS advice.

If you want my advice: build your training around compound movements, maintain good form, adapt your nutritional intake until you reach a sweet point (adequate hypertrophy, minimal fat gain).

A cluster-oriented workout schedule might do the trick; Chad Waterbury’s 10x3 is a good starting point if you don’t already know about that stuff (CNS efficiency etc.).

You might also want to check out the physique clinic threads; Christian Thibeaudeau (you know, that Vin Diesel guy) has lots of good pointers to offer.

Get it on!

So if I look at this picture and think ‘skinny’ I am deluded?

Fuck off you muppet
