For those who keep an Article Archive, how do you save the older T-Mag articles? I cant save them because they dont open (only the newer ones can be saved into an archive for off-line access).
Any tips? I wanted to save Ian King’s article on flexibility but because it doesnt have the text version.
I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but I normally just save all articles and any forum threads that I might want to refer to again in an update into my HTML editor, and then keep all of the articles saved as webpages, and burn them onto CD’s at the end of the year, it even keeps the same look and formatting.
I use Netscape Navigator to view the internet. So this is how to do it using Netscape.
1.) Right click on the text of the page.
2.) Select “Save Page as”
3.) Find the directory on your hard drive or CD drive where you would like to save the article.
4.) You are done.
i use WinHTTrack. Copies the entire website.

MHT combines text and graphics into a single file. More recent versions of Internet Explorer support it.

I just copy the entire thing and paste it into it’s own Word file, then edit the yellow text to make it black. It works, and is printer friendly. That or I just print it out.
