Guess we’ve all said things we regret.
Get to the Chopper!!!
Although I in no way condone racism or anything like that the Guv’na may have said, I do think that often times things like this can be blown out of proportion.
There may have been some miscommunication or perhaps Arnie thought [for some unknown reason] that it wasn’t a big deal, I don’t know. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I firmly believe if someone has a problem (Robby) with something someone else (Arnold) is doing, they should approach them like a man and solve the issue, rather than using media outlets or third-party consultants to do their own bidding.
Arnold’s done and said a lot of strange shit. Oh well.
No big surprise really, he now claims that mexicans fail to integrate into American culture. Last time I checked we lived in the good olde U.S of A, why are you shocked by racism?

Based on the article Robinson was corroborating Rick Wayne’s comments, presumably because people were reacting like you and saying it was blown out of proportion or saying it was false.
Also, Arnold is a governor now, knowing whether or not he is a racist is in the public interest of his state.
[quote]"After the show there was a big banquet. We were all dancing having a nice time and in walks Arnold who started shouting out, ‘Down with the blacks, niggers this and blacks that,’ for about 10 min.

Sorry but this just sounds like a bunch of B.S.
Besides, if he is such a racist whey does he give such praise to black bb’ers in his encyclopedia?
Or… maybe the encyclopedia was made to trick us into thinking he isn’t a racist because he knew one day he would be an American politician and would need such evidence for backup.
We need Alex Jones to solve this one.
Yet Arnold made the decision to cast Black actors in nearly all his films, knowing that his audience included all ethnic groups, and in the USA that would include Blacks with disposable income to buy those tickets and get those asses in the seats.
Clint Eastwood has done the same, yet gets slagged for “racism” by Spike Lee. I am a big admirer of both Rick Wayne & Robby, I looked up to them as my physique heroes back in those days and still do today…
It is interesting this did not surface until Arnold was running for Governor several years ago, so why the delay?. Sergio Oliva also has recently brought up similar issues from that era…How relevant it is now? Well, that is the question, isnt it?..
Anyone else remember what he said about gay marriage? That’s exactly why you shouldn’t take everything he says literally.
He’s Arnold. He is weird. Get over it people. But at least he provides entertainment for everyone.
So let me get this straight: of all the people who knew Arnold back then, of all the journalists who we around, of all the Hollywood and New York elites who were hanging around, of all the bodybuilders he worked with, the only people who bothered to mention it were a couple of has-beens?
And the only media outlet who thought the story was worth printing was Drudge? And in the over four years since then nobody else brought it up? And the story is that middle-class Austrian immigrant living in LA talked about blacks like a goober from Alabama?
Why should any of us take this garbage seriously? There are plenty of good reasons to dislike Arnold, but this old story needs to be left in the heap of internet bullshit.
OP this is a non-thread, you are speculating about speculation.
There are a lot of people with alot of reasons for disliking Arnold he is successfull after all.
anyone can make those sorts of claims about anyone…
but remember, only whites can be racist

Umm no, the most racist people I’ve met were brown or black. Racism is in every ethnic group. The anglo-saxon peoples simply have a longer history of supporting and practicing racist acts than most. Such a past has been sucessfully white-washed, we are all one big happy family now.

Guess you’re right, I shouldn’t be surprised.

Robbie Robinson is a living legend. I don’t think he should be called a “has been”. Just a thought.
“I wanted to bust him up”
Take your bets now, who would have won that fight???
But i hardly believe Arny went into a hall full of people including judges and started shouting “Nigger, Nigger” without anything happening at the time or anyone going to the media…
