Take your bets now, who would have won that fight???

Not sure, but it’d make some good reality television.

No big surprise really, he now claims that mexicans fail to integrate into American culture. Last time I checked we lived in the good olde U.S of A, why are you shocked by racism? [/quote]

I fail to see how saying Mexicans fail to integrate into American culture is racist or false. For the most part, most older immigrants do reject learning English and stick to living in communities of their own people…but this is no different than the ethnic ghettos that arose during the first influx of European immigrants.

Back on topic…

I seriously doubt Arnold is anymore of a racist than the two has-beens who are trying to smear his name. Everyone harbors certain stigmas about certain types of people…whether they’re on a small or large scale makes no difference.

Racism will exist as long as man is still alive. People just can’t except other people’s differences and certain stereotypes will never die as long as the minority(not talking about race) prove that such stereotypes are valid with their less than ideal behavior.

Maybe he was saying 'negger? Kind of a pet nickname for himself.

I seriously lol’d irl in the middle of my class and got in trouble for surfing the net by my prof…thanks =)

Why is it so hard to believe? He was young, on top of the world, confident, brash, a womanizer and very vocal about his superiority over his fellow man.

One of the reasons why he and Jow Weider got along so well. It is sad but why does this surprise anyone. No one is trying to smear him. Talk to anyone who has worked with him and you will hear the same story. He can crack a joke but when it comes to money do not fuck with Mr. Olympia. He is ruthless - you do not do what he has done and not step on a few people’s feelings.

Nothing against the guy . . . sad but in no way surprising.

yeah im calling bullshit.

i dont think he was a womanizer either, he just had high t-levels excuse him for trying to get laid, excuse him for being a man.

I think a better place for this thread would be Politics and World Issues. Whether or not Arnold is or was a bigot has little to do with bodybuilding.

Apart from the fact hes the most famous bodybuilder of all time…

Generally, I associate the Drudge Report with politics.

Additionally, this info all came to light during the middle of the Cali gubernatorial race. So excuse me if I happen to be literate. And once again, excuse me if I was old enough to be out of diapers when Arnold was campaigning.

So in light of the above facts it would be appropriate to consider the political affiliations/motivations of the accusers. Hence a political topic.

I get the same feeling about this that I did about the Swift boat veterans on John Kerry. It’s just political move. Arnold is a very intelligent person and although he might very well be a racist, I doubt he would shout this stuff in a crowded room.

I’m Rick James Bitch!

Nothing posted above is fact. Who the fuck walks into a room and yells “down with the blacks”? This sounds like total bullshit.

Everyone has some amount of prejudice in them. The people who can truly accept others are the ones that know this.

Agreed!

Don’t pay any attention to a white noise poster.

Your point is well taken, but - what does that have to do with bodybuilding? Other than it being about Arnold, what relevance does this supposed incident have to the pursuit of getting bigger?

This thread is precisely why the T-Cell was created.

Looks like he doesn’t mind the dark meat too much in this video:

This’ll clear it aaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll up!

It doesn’t. Since the thread was random, I thought I should be as well.

I wasn’t trying to sound like I was singling you out. I agree with what you had to say, but wonder aloud why this thread is considered even remotely BBing related.

No offense intended.
