Not really. The reason we get annoyed is because we know were not even close, and the fact that they would mention steroids first completely ignores the work amount of work it takes for some of us to approach “not even close”. Now if they said “damn you’ve been lifting and taking roids?”, I would just politely say “Just lifting no roids not sure if I’ll use them later on”.
Plus, we just had a poster claim to get pissed off about getting accused of being on steroids, but now that he takes them he still would deny it to everyone but a select few.
THIS is why people have a hard time believing people are clean! People are used to being lied to about this subject.

Anyone with half a brain cell wouldn’t admit to strangers or even ‘friends’ about doing something that is clearly illegal. In my profession it would be looked down upon.
And yes, it is why people have a hard time believing people are clean. If it were perfectly legal it would be another matter. But then again, would it? I am sure there would still be a stigma attached.

IM 15.And Ive been accused of juicing…Guys in other classes at my school swear that I juice.LOl and I am NOT big by any means, just bigger then them…Heck even my Physical Education teacher took my aside to ask me if I took steroidzzzzz…
lol
its pretty messed up ,but thats how people see it…
The most annoying part about all of this is people spread rumors about it. There is a rumor going around at my college that I’m “the” steroid dealer, which is just fucking stupid. Random dudes are now asking me if I can get stuff for them. This is a completely unsubstantiated claim and I don’t want some SWAT team busting down my door because people like to make things up…It’s very frustrating.
When people ask if I’m on anything, I just tell them no, and thank them for the compliment. What pisses me off exponentially more than that is when people realize that you’re big, and must therefore work out, so what do they tell you? “Make sure you don’t get TOO big!” Yeah, thanks asshat, that’s my number one concern. You would have to be retarded to put in all the hours of work, all the money on supplements, and food, and gym memberships only to NOT get as big as you possibly can. If you’re not in it 100% you’re wasting your time.

Totally i get asked this all the time and i take off my shirt and pants and POP them with a Double Bi then a Lat Spread and walk away all badass like while they stare in amazement its awesome.
I get asked all the time and I just take it as a compliment because most people who are going to ask you that question are probably completely ignorant on the topic anyways, so I could care less about how they feel about my size and their own lack of size. This question is usually followed by the story about how this person “could be big” but they “don’t want to get too big like those bodybuilders” and thus continue their bench workout with a whopping 135.

LOL that sucks, you should set up a meeting with some punk and give him some like sugar water or something LOLOLOLOLOL
Well, I’m 6’6, 290, and I guess I look like I use roids. But never once in my life, ever, has a stranger approached me and asked if I was on roids. Maybe some people are just more approachable than others. I’ve also never had a stranger come and ask me if I’d like to get together some time and “play raquetball”.

I cant understand why it seems to be perfectly acceptable to ridicule bodybuilders, when if u did the same to a fat person, ud be mobbed by the whole PC crowd.
Not really talkin about roids now, but if a bodybuilder walked around with his top off, and someone said, “Your muscles look disgusting, you obviously take steroids and you’re a freak” its somehow acceptable, and noone would stand up for them.
If I went up to a moderately fat person and said “damn, your stomach is disgusting, you must sit at home eating pies all day, and take pain killers for the pain from just to walking with all that weight” Id be runnin for my life from a pack of angry PC nobs
Yeah, those are called “Haterz”. That is the main reason people bring up this topic in the first place…because admitting that really hard work and dedication built your body doesn’t make them feel as good as acting like the ONLY reason you look like that is because of roidz.
People want to feel relevant. Seeing someone that far removed from where they are makes them feel less than relevant (at least physically). It is a defense mechanism.
