I know there are supplements available that prevent the absorption of fats, but is there such a thing that can prevent carbs from being absorbed while on a cutting phase?
There was product a few years back called Citrus-Something-or-Other. It was supposed to be a “carb blocker”, but I think the general consensus was that it was not really effective at all.
Yeah, it’s called the anabolic diet.
you could look into enzyme inhibitors. Although, if you inhibit the enzymes that digest carbohydrates you would just get bad gas and the shits. Vinegar is good shit though. It may or may not be an enzyme inhibitor.
Here are examples of products sold at vitamin world and GNC. I never really see anything like carb blockers talked about around here, so I figured I’d ask.
those don’t look too bad. They appear to be a little underdosed. I have not read or heard much about white kidney bean extract. is it fiber?
“Carb Blocker contains Phase 2 1000mg and Isophase 2200 (soybean oil, CLA, white tea extract, bioperine) 600mg.”
yep soybean oil is a grea carb blocker, sigh this shit is in everything these days
Why don’t you just not eat the foods you don’t want to absorb?
Carb & fat blockers seem like the absolute dumbest supplements ever conceived.
Are people really so lazy that they need to take a pill when they could just not put the food in their mouth in the first place? (rhetorical question)

Did you look at the other two products?
When I made my biggest improvement, one of the things I used was a starch blocker from Life Plus(.com) and a book they sold with it. Use the product prior to a meal. It and some other things I did really let me get rid of the fat.
How well did I do?, when too many women were staring and making passes at me, my girl friend at the time got upset and demanded that I put some weight back on.
I also ate half, or a whole grapefruit at the start of each meal, an apple & protein mid morning, an orange and protein mid afternoon. All told I did every thing right that I had ever read about, and they all worked. Expensive and well worth the money and hard work.
I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with these.
Not for use as a “magic pill” like most fat lazy middle aged women wished it would be, but for strategic use with cheat days. I eat clean 6 days a week, mostly P+F with carbs PWO, and usually allow myself one of the weekend days to cheat and drink, the usual deal.
My question is- would taking these before my high junk carb cheat meals make them “better bad?” basically, maximize the psychological benefits of a free cheat day while minimizing the physical setback of all those junk carbs.
thoughts?

So true. Alternatively, bulimia is a much cheaper alternative to carb and fat blockers.
