Are People Here Not Trying Very Hard?

read about half of this bullshit, my 2 cents are.

If you would have just checked your “im strong your not ego” at the door you could have made this a lot better for yourself, and got some nice help from these people on here.
I have been coming to this site for years, and learned a lot (even though i rarely post).
I used to think i was strong like you “think” you are, my lifts where bad, my depth was shit, and i was a bench press gym rat.
I was 21, 185lbs and benching 350. DL like 295 and never squat 1 time.
Should i have got on here and been like " hey guys your bench sucks, learn to be like me"
Im so glad i worked on my form and started to dl and squat the proper way, i have no pain ever after a work out and my numbers always go up.

If you really wanna just have big numbers and brag about your lifts, do box squats for 600lbs, do decline bench for 405 reps and dead lift off high pins for 550lbs sets of 10. Just be “that” guy.

Getting out of bed in the morning, or night, and just getting into a gym is an accomplishment and im glad i share the same love for that as you all do, but this OP is the type of person that ruins it for the rest of us.
not to open a whole new can of worms but a) who are you even? and b) when did box squat become the “easy” squat variation?

you are telling me, you can load up 600lbs, sit down on a box and settle, and then stand back up again? since the mantra of this thread is such, i will continue the trend. video please?
i just got back from doing box squats earlier and immediately had the same thought, they are hard as fuck, and something the OP might consider trying- you set the box at parallel so you know whether or not you hit your depth. Its a great way to keep it honest as you cant bullshit yourself into thinking you got down, especially on those heavier sets where some have a tendency to go shallow, not to mention reinforcing good form (sitting back) and hitting the posterior chain.
I think it is safe to say that if people are still calling this guy after this many pages, maybe they need to have their own pics and vids up before pressing “submit”.

This thread has run its course. Once people we NEVER see in any other forum start popping in just to berate someone, it is time to let it die.

It is flat out retarded to call someone else out on videos or anything else when you have none available of yourself.

powerhouse gym in louisville, if you wanna see me lift prolly more ez then me posting videos, since i don’t shoot myself working out or at meets. though there is a video of me on youtube benching 315 like 13 reps “video3gpp_2_3” bench wars 69 or something stupid, some dude at work did it on his cellphone at my house. defently not my idea

wait, what? i cant suggest box squats or else im retarded bc i dont have a video? wasnt intending to berate anyone, by “you” i meant “one,” as in “one cant bullshit oneself…etc” I just thought box squats are helpful in learning to squat properly.

Wait, so we have to drive to Louisville to see if you can lift what you claim but the OP is getting 26+ pages of shit about posting vids?

I wasn’t talking about YOU. I was talking about the Louisville guy that we ALL quoted who claimed it was so easy but now won’t show a vid of how easy it is.

just gave you the info of how EASY it is to bench 315, last 2 reps of 15 are sloppy, still though.

posting videos wasn’t my point of all this, I just wanted to tell the OP he was a douche bag, guess ill just PM people from now on how i feel, sorry to add to this waste of space.

Quit it.

/thread.

Its dead.

Posting just to get this thread to 40 pages. Woo woo!

Wow looking like a stud bug.

Okay, the first attempt at uploading failed — file size was 109mb

SO I just trimmed it down to just the reps. Should upload not… it’s halved the size of it.
That’s not a squat. That’s a curtsy with a bar on your back. Stop talking shit about how much you lift until you can actually do it right.

Props on uploading the video but you definitely need alot more depth to be comparing that to other peoples squats. Your new to this though, good luck with your goals
Thing is I CANT physically get into the same position JW is in in his video. It’s biomechanically NOT possible for me. But I can front squat 400 to a perfect parallel, and ill get a vid of that in due course. — yet if you look only at the bar, I am moving the bar much further than he is.

The mechanics of back squatting are tough for me.
You can do it. Stop making excuses for half ass work.

Your depth blows. Drop the weight, stretch like a mother fucker, then nut up and hit depth.
Also remember that this is the first time i’ve seen myself squatting… so I didn’t know this until I watched this video.

Regardless that 400 is still very EASY. I just need to find a way of improving my depth… but at least I know that now.

Of course, no doubt many of you also have no clue about your own depth.… it’s good seeing vids of yourself though, otherwise you would never notice these things.
Fvck you, you fvcktard. I know exactly how low I’m going. All it takes is a pair of eyes and a mirror in front of your rack.

You’ve got a good level of genetic strength, I’ll give you that. But you need to shut the fvck up about what you think other people are doing and how you feel you’re better than everyone else because of your level of retard strength. Until you can actually do the movements right, get to proper depth, etc… Shut. The. Fvck. Up.

Don’t tease me austin. Sorry I don’t have huge biceps like you and a 405 bench. <3

Hey, can I get in on this??

You have to start at the bottom and work your way up…heathen.

Haha, what?

Ebomb squatted 405 x 17 breaking parallel each rep. He ain’t near the bottom, at all.

Bug, u got arnies chest and a sick ass squat, I can barely squat 2 plates, fucker!!! <3
Am14g08 wrote:

I promise you all that within a year I will

Bench 500
Squat 600+ with top form
And deadlift close to 700

then I will come back here and some of you can suck it.
Bullshit. I’ll believe it when I see it. You haven’t yet proven that you can do what you said you could do so far. Why should I believe you’ll reach some fantastical pie-in-the-sky number?
Am14g08 wrote:
How is it an epic fail?

What i’ve shown that I can deadlift 500
Nope. That vid wasn’t a 500lb lift.

Bad form is bad form…regardless of who it is.

Your arms are fat…not muscular.

This whole fvcking thread is the fail.

Again…stop letting your mouth write checks your ass can’t cash. You don’t know shit about anyone around here.

Arnie’s chest lololol.

Ya ebomb is a tank in the gym. One of the stronger squatters I’ve seen for his size.
