Are People Here Not Trying Very Hard?

just got back from my training session and i was looking forward to a super deep hack squat video with 16 plates and all i have is a quarter squat video with a million form issues. i’m dissapointed.

i could write a book on all the things you need to do to fix that squat but i’m sure you alreay know what those are so i won’t bother.

where’s the hack squat video?

and for your viewing entertainment, here’s one of my squats.

675x1

and my wrist are only 7 3/4’s inches around WTF??

Of course, no doubt many of you also have no clue about your own depth… it’s good seeing vids of yourself though, otherwise you would never notice these things.
One of the many invaluable things I learned from listening was POIDH. (POIDH=pics or it didn’t happen) (this particular instance it’s Vids or it didn’t happen, but that is neither here nor there.)

I’ve been filming myself for well over a year now and have only benefited from it.

As you said, you just can’t tell how or what you are doing sometimes, and filming it puts a whole new perspective on things. Particularly if you can be objective with yourself.

Also, vids and pics will also shut up the weak jealous internet haters, and/or prompt them to make up new screen names and “troll you” while they wallow in self pity from their mom’s basement masturbating with peanutbutter.

Anywho… from a BB perspective I don’t see anything wrong with your depth. that being said, if you are looking to compare numbers or try and say you are stronger/better than someone you are going to have to hit depth. So listen to Dixi and drop the weigh a smidgen and work on flexibility.

This thread and OP delivers…

it will give me something to strive for.

What are the odds we never get that bench or front squat vid?

LOL this dude has to be a troll, there is just no way!
No way what?

You mean that i’m actually already a lot stronger and a lot bigger, than 90% of the people who want to come in here and give me this shit?

Hell I just go and browse squatting vids on youtube and most people are not even hitting the depth I hit on 3 of those six reps…

Just saw some vids of brandon curry doing 4 plates a side no deeper than I did… and this vid of lee priest when he was younger

not even going as deep as I did, and the guy is 5ft4/5ft5, right?

Honestly…

I can front squat 400 ass to grass. Ill get a vid of that.

Seriously it’s all of the posters here who have nothing to show who talk the most shit.

Bottom line is after two months and one week

I weigh 237lbs at 6ft1

I bench 350
Deadlift well over 500
and squat 400 for 6… and now i’ve seen the depth i’m sure I can make that a deep 400 for 6

plus i’ve already got my arms up to 19 inches…

and yet IM A TROLL

how about you all post your vids and shit?

I bet some of you (other than the ones who have pics e.t.c ) like PX/MM/AB/Waylander e.t.c aren’t even benching the fucking bar… like half the people I see in the gym… but just want to post shit.

How many times do I have to agree my depth isn’t what I thought it was?

But you know what? That 400 was still light and stable as fuck, even if they were not deep reps… ill hit 400x6 for deep reps in no time at all… even though it’s against my natural biomechanics.
Dude youre dumb. Thats a horrible video to compare yourself to. Do you see where his feet are??? He’s doing the squats like that purposely to develop the outer sweep of his quads. His feet are about 4" apart. Jesus christ YOU ARE A FUCKING NEWB. Thhats not suppoesed to be an insult. Just an explanation for why you dont need to try and defend your knowledge. Because you cant yet. You dont know enough to knmow why Lee Priest looked funky while he was squatting. You dont know what youre talkinga bout. Not everyone blasting you is smaller or weaker than you.

I don’t care how strong you are, you are trolling. You also see to know a lot about the posters here for someone who wasn’t even lifting a couple of months ago…

But you are entertaining, at least.

how am i trolling?

Then everyone gives you shit for not Z with super duper ooper perfect form (you know what on one of those squats the bar did touch the fucking safety bars) — ffs.
What? You were at least 10" away from the bars on EVERY one of those reps. What’s going on here?

AM you really need to lose the ego with the numbers, your squat form is terrible, start lighter and work your way up , once you nail the form , you will hit bigger numbers rather than starting off at the weight your at now with shit form and trying to progress with no clue of the technique, im not bashing mate just being honest, but who am i to talk i only have 20 posts

For one, some posters who are laying critique in this thread have NOT claimed “EASY” over 400 pound front squats and hack squats with 6 plates a side. Why should they put up pics or videos? You did upload a video, so expect some feedback.

I saw 14-15 year old 120~ pound boy in my gym this tuesday, squatting 300 pounds on his back, barely being able to balance the bar on his back for a “rep” (that is what he called it). His “squat” was just as deep as yours.

Know what the fucker told his friend? He said: “I could had actually squatted 350, that felt easy!”

At the same time I was fearing for this kids spine and for him not to get injured, just because he wanted to post his MAX PR on the internet forum.

My advice is simple. Take 50% off from the bar and start squatting deeper. Get your form and depth to correct level (ATLEAST parallel) and the rest will take care of itself. Your lifting form is just going to get you injured…

lol

OP is fat and ugly

Big coincidence that that happened to happen TODAY? no?

lol

I promise you all that within a year I will

Bench 500
Squat 600+ with top form
And deadlift close to 700

then I will come back here and some of you can suck it.

Or it happened on tuesday.

If you reach these goals, great. If you dont, this thread become more of an epic fail than it already is.
