So it’s been established that eating dirty means eating “processed” crap. If man’s tampered with it, it’s dirty.
The end
I said that in haste, just because I was getting tired of the subject of dirty and clean LOL. I don’t really care what is so called clean or not - it doesn’t stop me from eating it (within reason). Today for example, I poured table sugar into water for during and post workout (since I ran out of dextrose etc)…oh no, I’m gona die! I don’t see the major difference to be honest.
With a full time labour intensive job I have to eat a lot (4500-5000 cals per day to gain), so I understand how you have to “cheat” and eat “dirty” (whatever that is). I really don’t have the energy to worry too much over how “clean” my food is (although I do try to “squeeze” things like fruit etc in there too). I hate to imagine what I’d have to eat when I’m heavier! I need to get a job where I’m sitting on my ass lol.
On the note of progress, which was mentioned earlier, I ALWAYS find that if I’m gaining a pound a week, I usually make decent progress with my lifts too. At 207lbs, I don’t mind adding “only” a pound a week (pretty doable). At least, likely, it will be moreso muscle than fat (compared to adding 2-3lbs per week), going by past bulking experiences. If you add 10-15lbs in about 3 months, you’ll notice it well, so it’s not like it’s not rewarding (nothing to get impatient about).

Right now, I can hardly even stand the taste of peanut butter. Its just too soon. Maybe my next bulk i’ll be ready for it again.

You should try peanut butter, mixed with 18 raw eggs, mixed with milk and cream, mixed with whey…eat that for a few months…
Then tell me that you don’t like the taste of peanut butter LOL
Ha, if that’s the way you feel then never watch Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay.
The restaurant kitchen was clean and sanitary 99% of the time. But at Taco Bell they’d have checklists and more procedures in place than a typical family owned restaurant. My manager was good and followed them so I’d say it was cleaner than the restaurant.
Dankid…you blaspheme! Taco Bell is fucking delicious.
Taco Bell fun fact #83: They don’t actually cook the meat on stoves or in ovens. But it comes in a huge plastic bag which is dumped in boiling hot water then removed when it’s done cooking. This was in 1994.
I’ll go ahead and make you the promise that every person on this website who is considered “big”, has used this method of “dirty bulking” at some point, which allowed them to reach the upper echelons of mass in the first place.

End of thread right there.

The bad thing is, we’ve been saying that for a very long time here…only to be told that we were just recommending everyone becomes obese. It is like they hear the “eat big” part but the “train like a fucking animal” part is just an after thought.
Hardcore weight lifting…it sure as hell ain’t for everybody.
I am convinced that people used to actually think things through much better than people today. The internet has apparently numbed down the average mind…at least that is my opinion.
You’re not alone. It’s pretty safe to say that the internet has blunted as many minds as it has sharpened…it certainly doesn’t foster independent thinking in people that didn’t have it to begin with.
The internet is a great resource for people that seek knowledge which can’t be found in a library or in real life; but, at the same time, far too many people view it as a way to avoid having to use their own brains and avoid human contact - I mean, why bother going to the effort of learning and researching new things (whether it’s in a book or through that antiquated notion of ‘learning through direct experience’), when you can get a stranger to use their brains, leave the house, train, and research the answers for you. Call me old fashioned, but these days, using your own brain and your own body just cuts into valuable couch time.
