Anyone Try DC Training?

Curious to see what kind of results people have gotten from it. I don’t bodybuild, I just wanted to take some time off from the power stuff and put on some muscle. Anyone have experiences from it or know someone that has? I’m about to start my 2nd week and I love this kind of training I look forward to every workout

Danta’s strength standards:

455 for 15rp on the incline bench
500 for 10 reps on the deadlift
90lb dumbell curls for 20rp
425 for 20rp on the close grip
315lbs for 15-20rp on the military
150lb rack chins for 20rp
600lb calf presses extreme stretched for 12
550 for 4-5 and 405 for 15-20 reps on the squat
the weight stack and chained plates for 15-30rp on the leg curl

What are those “standards” for? But I meant to say like how most strength routines are 1 core lift and maybe 2 accessory then you leave. This training isn’t like that, which is why I like it.

Aren’t you the dude who has started one thousand threads about training, etc. Stick to something, holy shit! You will not get anywhere switching programs. You have been told this too many times before.

Not exactly 1000, but yeah I definitley do switch up too much. It’s good though, I’m sure I got one to stick with for a whole year, then depending on how that goes I’ll stay with it. Found out why I switched my shit up so many times, I wanted to do too many things. 1 month I wanted to powerlift, next month I wanted to do strongman…like 2 weeks ago I was all about following Paul Anderson. But now it’s strength and size with more strength and size…no 350+ pound powerlifter who is in the gym doing bench variations then leaving. I actually really like the DC training and DC mixed with 5/3/1

Have you read anything Dante has put out yet? You were adverse to doing so in the past.

You literally lost your will power by the end of the paragraph.

Not to mention on this very site there are parts 1-5 of a DC training thread that is flush with guys talking about it. This thread alone should have you busy for a while: http://tnation.T-Nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding/trying_doggcrap_training?id=1142392&pageNo=0

Pwnisher- yes I read the entire TNation article, one on BB, and one from some other site…I think muscleandbrawn.
Lonnie- it seems that way but I was reccomended by someone on here to do 5/3/1 with DC accessory work. DC will be in the summer and spring months, 5/3/1 with DC acc. is fall and winter.

The T-Nation article wasn’t written by Dante actually. I think that one was Nate Green.

Stay away from articles on this one. You’d be much better off reading what Dante has actually written about his own program on his website. He has put a lot out there, and it’s all gold, especially when it comes to DC. Definitely read as much of it as you can.
