I’m about halfway through Shadow of Mordor and I agree that the story sucks. The gameplay is fun and I get more caught up doing all of the side missions.
Finished Wolfenstein: The New Order last night, one of the best fps i’ve played in years.
I’m a big Doom and Duke Nukem fan, so old school always grab my attention since i hate multiplayer and it’s really hard for a fps to grab my attention.

It’s very challenging with heavy sneak elements; not run and gun at all. I really enjoyed it, but it had some issues. If you enjoy tension/thriller/sneak/sci fi games you’ll like it, just dont expect it to play like wolfenstein, cod or battlefield. The game is really alla bout the ambience and environment.

FWIW, it’s my favorite game from the PS3/360 generation. The only game that comes close is Skyrim and it’s basically the same thing just with swords, spells, and dragons as opposed to guns, nuclear waste, and radiation.
