Anyone Played Any Good PS4 Games Lately?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing activities that you enjoy. It’ll keep you happier and healthier in the long run, instead of losing yourself in your career, waking up old, and realizing you missed out on life. Not saying to ignore a career or providing for your family, just that there’s a balance, and that the play side of life shouldn’t be ignored.

Avoid Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero until it’s $4.99. I beat the “main game” in less than one hour and paid $29.99 for it.

Must haves (unless you’ve already played them on ps3 or other platforms)

  1. The Last of Us: Remastered
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. The Evil Within
  4. Metro Redux
  5. Far Cry 4
  6. Alien Isolation
  7. Dragon Age Inquisition (if you like RPG’s)

Games in the future that I’m looking forward to:
Dying Light
The Witcher 3
Uncharted 4
The Order 1886
Evolve
Battlefield Hardline

and the list goes on…

If you haven’t played any of the 7 in my list above, I’d recommend any of them, probably in that order.

Fyi for you guys with ps4 that want to use the console to watch movies. Ps4 wont work with your youtube account or any other platform that requires a flash download. However it does work with the site youtubeonfire.com. on that site you can watch movies without downloading also many of the movies/shows are 1080p
Not sure how great it is with amazon
however it works great on netflix

Also in recommendation of anyone who hasn’t already played the series yet, the Uncharted games were some of the highest quality, best told stories I have ever played.

Add Arkham Knight to that list of upcoming games. If it is anything like Arkham City it should be really good.

What about the youtube app for ps4?

^ Not sure about the youtube app… I can watch youtube vids but anything that requires a download to play video wont work… At least I couldnt figure it out. Also I cant figure out how to get free pandora on there or something like it… You guys have luck with that?

Dudes why no Madden ?

Try the youtube app for vids that require a download. I’d bet that would solve the issue.

i’m curious about Bloodborne.

Got way too many games the past 8 weeks but here are my thoughts on the games I have enjoyed.

Far Cry 4 - Amazing, relaxing shooter that makes minor improvements on the third;
Shadow of Mordor - I love certain parts (nemesis system for sure) but just do not care about the story one bit;
The Last of Us - People are probs sick of reading about my undying love for the game :P;
BF4 - Only online shooter I feel necessitated getting a next gen console for;
Outlast (PSN) - Dear lord, what a fucking game. This has created hours of hilarious memories for me and mates cause of how terrified we are during playthroughs. A must own!

I also have GTA5 and Metro Redux but have barely given either a decent amount of time.

What is outlast?

They are playing the really timid early levels btw.

I have literally not been scared like that in my life. One point last week I was playing with a friend and something happened and I literally jumped round in my chair and clinging to it for a good 10 secs screaming haha.

I got it for £6 pound with my PS Plus, best value experience i’ve had in recent memory.

Intense at the beginning, then it has kind of fallen into a pattern, still very scary and challenging. Survival horror has always been a love of mine.

I thought that The Evil Within was a better, more diverse and well rounded game than Outlast. If you like challenging horror games, you should really enjoy The Evil Within.
