i just drink though, i mean i love beer a nice cold guiness is like a milkshake on a hot summer day…that gets you drunk.
i enjoy drinking to relax and it definitely helps create a fun atmosphere unless youre with people who cant handle their alcohol.

But I’m only 16, so I don’t know what’s gonna become of in the near future. I tried all of 'em at least once, and just don’t like the taste of alcohol, hate smoking, but weed is not that bad. It’s probably something I can and would do instead of the first two. Atleast right now, I have weight training to keep me in line.
This is something I don’t understand- How do you form an identity over something you don’t do?
I noticed this straight edge thing when I was about 16, or in 1988 or so. I didn’t get it then, and don’t now.
It was like they wanted to show the world that they could be skinhead punks without the drugs and violence.
I’m not but I dont drink to get drunk… dont do any of the other stuff.
I am not straight edge, though I enjoy some of the bands…I always wondered though doesent straight edge also mean no sex? I heard this before just not sure if it is true.

I got into smoking and drinking, but once I saw where most of my “buddies” were going with that (getting fat, lazy, not making any money, getting arrested) I dropped it really quick. I haven’t considered doing it, even when a co-worker promised me that this party would be full of drunk pussy!
Call me gay if you want, but I wasn’t too excited about feeling up on drunk women and being hung over. After my grandpa died from smoking, I really did not want to be around cigarettes.

I find the preachy nature of the Straight Edgers annoying. Believe it or not, it is possible to use substances without becoming addicted, if you have the right kind of personality.

Its just not for me.I was forced as a chile to do the whole catholic deal with drinking the wine,eating the bread,confessing to all my sins and to sit in church every sunday for 9 years of my life.
It totally turned me against reigion.
Plus so many people try and preach religion onto me.One girl i worked with was legit upset with me because i didnt get my child baptised.She said u should have got that done so she would be protected. I then said protected from what??? she just looked at me with a blank look on her face.
