Anti Inflammatory Foods

I remember reading during your shoulder recovery that your wife helped you with a lot of anti inflammatory foods. Won’t bore you with details of my situation, just wondering if you would share some of those foods and any resources or ideas you may have about moving towards a more anti inflammatory diet.

Had lots of beach trips with the kids and I’ve been living on pizza crusts and leftover chicken tenders and French fries this summer. Ok, not that bad, but need to get back on the stick.

I’m an old fart who trains very hard and I’m looking for every recovery edge I can find. All other aspects of recovery are in order, but could use some help here.

I think diet is overrated.

However, it seems to help some people, especially people who have a history of bad training or no training. In general, I just stayed away from fried foods and shit that is generally known as not being terribly healthy. So you are already on the right path. Taking some kind of fish oil, Flameout or Krill oil, is generally a good idea.

The Diet Zealots love fear and thrive on it - thrive on trying to scare the public with any remote study or twisted fact to help pull others in their twisted line of thinking. What is truly scary though is how common sense seems to always prevail. And how many people don’t realize that.

“Eating right” is usually a matter of discipline. You already know what to do, what to eat. It’s just a matter of doing it.
